Hi all

Was hoping for some advice on what the best projector I can get for under $500 would be. The main uses for the projector would be watch movies on BluRay, as well as a sport on tv etc. I have been looking on eBay but my gut tells me they must be cheap and nasty, so thought id seek some proper advice before spending any money.

I don't think $500 is a very good budget for a home theater. If you want to make it more or less decent and with good quality, I think you will need a little more budget.
