Few days ago, we reported that a suspected kidnapper who took tramadol as he attempted to kidnap a pharmacy owner, slept off at his victim's house. 

In a new update released by the Police, it has been gathered that suspect whose identity is yet to be confirmed by the Ondo State Police Command, was still sleeping six days after he was taken into custody.

The suspect who took tramadol, was arrested by men of the command on Sunday as he and three other members of his gang attempted to kidnap a pharmaceutical shop owner in Owo town. The victim of the attack had raised an alarm and escaped through the back door, when the three-man gang stormed the shop with guns with the intention of kidnapping him. 

Though the suspect had tried to escape on a motorcycle he reportedly snatched from a customer of the shop owner, however he stumbled while he was trying to ride it while other members of the gang were said to have taken to their heels.

The Ondo State Police Command disclosed that a 400mg tablet of Tramadol was recovered from the pocket of the sleeping suspect, which raised the suspicion that he must have taken the drug before he went for the operation.

Speaking to Punch's correspondent, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Femi Joseph disclosed that the suspect is still being watched to know if he is pretending. 

“As of today (Friday), the suspect had yet to wake up. Maybe he took too much of the drug, that is why he is still sleeping. We have tried all we could to make him regain his consciousness to no avail.

“However, we are still watching him to find out if he is pretending. We are with him and he would face the music no matter how long he is unconscious" he said.

May be they're waiting for him to die (God forbid though) so that his family member can sue them for wrongful death and they will also face negligence charges for their incompetency

This story is either a lie or that guy is in a coma probably caused by an overdose.

Seriously This is beyond tramadol.. I've seen a guy who took 200mg of Tramadol and nothing happened to him.. They should look inward

You guys don't know Jack sh!t about drugs. Tramadol in high doses does not make you sleepy, it makes you hyper and extremely higher doses will make you go in to convulsion and die.
It's when you take it in small dose that it will relax you and make you fall asleep afterwards.
