I count the number of churches in my street 19. Every Sunday its a nuisance to residents of the street as each church positions its loud speakers to outdoor the neighbouring church... At times dual churches in the same complex.... Every Sunday the poor, rich, infirmed goes to the church to practice their believe. In the midst of poverty, they must always be lured to part with something. While the country is diving deep to severe poverty and factories and small businesses closing but big cathedrals and massive church complexes with their pastors living a luxurious and flamboyant showoffs. Some own private jets, schools etc... Fellow Nigerians I think its high time our government considers taxing religious houses according to their sitting capacity and daily activities!
