There are so many contradictions in the Bible. But I will try as much as possible to break this down. The Bible never stated there is life after death. Neither did it say the Soul shall be tormented for ever in hell of fire. The Bible refers to hades as grave. Acts 2:31 He foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. So why would God who is all mighty and merciful send us to hellfire to be tormented. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. well the Bible never stated this. But the Bible stated that the devil and the false prophets will be thrown into hellfire and tormented forever.we know that spirits never dies. So is the devil who is a spirit according to the Bible Revelation 20:10 And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. So he knows that humans were deceived. But would he punish them for this? Let us rephrase this quote again but in full Revelation 20:10-15 And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. ... Notice the bonded. And then he sent hades which is the grave and death to hellfire to be tormented. But the souls were judged according to their ways. Now God is a merciful creature. If he is going to punish then he is talking about permanent death. Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: the soul who sins shall die. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. In these two verses up you can clearly see that he is talking about death. Which means we are not spirit but souls are not spirit. Souls can actually die. Look at this verse Revelation 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Now this verse above clearly talks about the final death.which is the death of the soul. The first death was the flesh. Those who believe will not die again. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Now in conclusion we are not meant to be in hell of fire forever to be tormented. We are simply going to be sent their and the fire burns us out and we die forever and ever Ezekiel 18:20 The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. Ezekiel 28:19 All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever.” Share your experiences.
