Unlike the war banks that offer you an average of 4% as interest income on your regular savings account; ALAT account holders get a whopping 10% interest for every balance that exceeds 100,000. finally an interest rate that's closer to the monetary policy rate.....

With Alat App, you can create a financial goal which you hope to achieve just like the ones we call daily contribution and so on.. and Alat will pay you a cool 10% of it when you achieve it, no kidding but remember this: The interest you’ll earn is dependent on the duration of your goal let's say Davido and Chioma is saving toward getting her another assurance car for twelve months, it means they will get paid 10% in full when they meet that goal.

Creating An Alat Account

These seems to be one of the coolest feature of Alat App because it allows you open an account from the comfort of your home within minutes, even while watching your favorite soccer match or a romatic movie on Zee world channel, it is that easy.

You can do this using either your Iphone or Android device like me with your BVN and phone number, to crown it all, no paperwork is required. The account currently available on Alat is the standard savings account though they promise to have more account options in the future.

To have your account fully activated, you will need to upload a photo of a valid means of identification ( a government-approved ID card ), a photo of a utility bill ( not older than 3 months ) and your passport photograph..
