Everyone is just getting emotional but let's face it.

The structure was marked for demolition but Ajumobi extended his goodwill by not demolishing it.

If Ayefele was wise enough he would have played safe by not attacking same government who allowed the place to stand despite against all odds.

It's simple common sense. He who lives in a glass house does not throw stones.

I am really not getting this demolition thing o. is it d building they say is the problem or the property becos looking at the first pic, the setback from the fence seems pretty much and only the fence should have been affected. like I said earlier I don't really know what the violation was

Today, we all woke to the shocking report of the demolition of the music house/radio station (Fresh FM, Ibadan), owned by broadcaster and singer, Yinka Ayefele. 

Before the building got demolished, the edifice had in its belly, two magnificent halls, an internet radio station, a standard studio and several offices. It also provided job for about 100 people and that placed it among top employers of labor in Oyo State.

Demolition of fresh FM is a good move by oyo state Govt if and only if such swift response was channeled at arresting the perpetrators of skull mining and human parts sales in #SOKA. We can't forget!!!

If Yinka Ayefele has all document to legally proof his ownership, as he claimed to, and also had a court injunction restraining the State Govt's action on his property, then i smell an underlying political undertone.

Good observation.

The truth of the matter is (Sentiment Apart):

1. Government is too hasty (Rascality) in his decision to carry out partial demolition of the structure due to the fact that the case is in court.

2. There is no way, the court can stop that demolition because the building is actually too close to the road and do not have adequate setback, (If you are in doubt, please take a look at the premises and its distance to the main road). Remember, all lands belongs to the govt, even if you have a C of O, it was leased to you for 99 years and govt can revoke it if it can prove that the land constitutes an hazard to the general public, but then conpensation suffice here.
