I sincerely wish I could do something better but you see, Buhari is still the president. Sadly so.

It all lies in the hands of Seun to call for a crowd funding. If we get there I am sure even N500 from so many of us will make a huge difference.

Thank you.
We have make arrangements with one of the best hospital in India. And from what they explain to us is that there will be a donor over there but normally takes time. That the most important thing now is the fund.

But if there's no donor, my step dad or I will have to donate but that must be after confirmation of the matching. I have reached out to some government officials in Edo where she work they requested to see me on Monday.

It's not only time buh money too. You think anyone will donate one kidney for free? It's only u or your step dad that can do this free. Guy, u should be thinking of how to reduce the cost and 1 way is to be a donor. Go get checked to c if u are a match

According to the guy

Going to check if they are match now is not that important like the dialysis for now.
Cus to get money for dialysis is hard for them.

TO ALL MY FRIENDS
Please Read, Donate And Re post God Bless You.

Please sir/ma i have to tag some people because right now its urgent whatever you can help us with will go along way even if its #1000 naira.

This is Mrs. Akhare Flora O. (My Mother) she's a young and ambitious woman (48yrs old), a mother of one, a staff of Ikpoba Okha Local Government Edo state Nigeria.

She was diagnosed of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) around April 2018.
It began around 2015, when she noticed excessive thirst and frequent urination she went for check up and discovered she's diabetic. She started the treatments immediately and there was a change in diet also which is the only way to fight diabetes.

Fast forward to 2017, she woke up one morning and realized that she couldn't see clearly again (blurred vision not blind). She went for an Eye check in Benin Edo state and she was told she have diabetic retinopathy so she was recommended to Eye Foundation (A Health Care for Eye treatment only not foundation) around GRA. Lagos State Nigeria.

On getting to Eye Foundation some series of test was conducted, then we discovered that her kidney has been affected. (Chronic Kidney Disease) We have no choice than to omit the treatment of the eyes and focused on the solution to the kidney disease.

So she started going for dialysis after spending two (2) weeks on admission at Lagos State teaching hospital (LASUTH). We have been going for dialysis and sometimes the dialysis do cause an infection.

NOTE: Infections acquired in dialysis units can kill, disable, hospitalize, and/or prolong illness in patients while disrupting lives and increasing the cost of treatment. Dialysis-relatedinfections can occur in many body locations including the bloodstream, bones, lungs, and skin.

After spending so much on dialysis, blood transfusions, injections to formulate the blood and buying of drugs, I decided to make a research about a lasting solutions to Chronic Kidney Disease, and also according to the Dr. Managing her, we where told that the only solution to this is to go for a transplants. And the transplant, is very expensive hence we have no choice than to beg for a funds raise to enable her live again.

Please kindly assist us with whatever you can. We are in need of all the help you can render, prayers, money or anything.

If you need any proof you can contact me +238-06494-5586 if you wish to see her you can call via whatsapp video call to see her live and the condition she is. If you need any more documents to proof my story to know if its true or not i will also provide to backup my story, you can reach me on +2348-0802-90561.

This is her account details
Account name :AKHARE FLORA O.
Bank Name: First Bank.
ACCOUNT NUMBER 2009301003.

May God Almighty Bless you all beyond your imaginations Amen.

i seem to get the point the man questioning this fund is saying and i think we should get some points clear .
1)how much is needed for the dialysis till she can get a kidney ?
because the truth is people cant be donating money continuously without knowing when to stop.
the permanent solution is the kidney transplant .
we will donate our own little contribution now but the bigger goal is the transplant, maybe if the man can come up with the total cost of the whole thing then people might even be able to organize a fund raising for him. dialysis is expensive and continuous till transplant is done

This is a brilliant question.
We were told to get 12m to 14 million naira ready for a kidney transplant in India.

What we have so far now is 133000 naira.

Who’s the donor that will be found in India?

I’ve seen really heartbreaking videos on Facebook of trafficked people being cut open while they are still alive so that their kidneys can be harvested fresh. I saw one that didn’t let me eat for days. It’s the height of monstrosity.

I know it’s very difficult and different when it’s your person that is suffering. I empathize and wish your mom luck in finding a good match from a humane source (preferably someone in your family).

But please make inquiries and be sure where your donor kidneys are coming from. The high demand for life saving organs has led to so much evil that we all need to do what we can to avoid encouraging the underground black market. Many missing people who haven’t been found today went that way.

Donor is not really the problem here but the funds.
If theres no donor, i will donate mine.

I think both are equally important. You can’t be sure you’re a match.
If there’s a donor, still do your homework to make sure it’s legit.

I’m not suggesting that you should start worrying about that first before looking for the money. It’s just something to keep at the back of your mind for when the time comes.
