@Femmy2010,

Some questions for you. Are you a Licensed Customs Agent at Cotonou ?  If not do you use Third parties to effect your Clients's clearing on your behalf ? Do you require clients abroad to send you their Bill of Lading to you directly to enable you clear their cars at Cotonou even though they have not met you personally? How many days does it take you to normally clear and deliver your cars to Lagos/Seme ?

Why do you normally charge N240,000 to clear cars through Cotonou when others charge around N170,000? (Thats the same price as clearing through Lagos)

Why would you expect N/Landers abroad to trust you with their Shipping documents/Clearing fee's in Cyberspace?

Would you be happy to sign a Bond agreement before commencing any Auto- transaction with anyone based abroad here? (i.e in order to mitigate against non-performance,risks and fraud, etc ).

Recently in addition to your Cotonou "runs" you have started advertising yourself as being able to clear vehicles through Lagos, are you a Licensed Nigerian customs agent ?
Re: CUSTOM CLEARING AGENT by femmy2010(m): 2:34am On Jul 04, 2010
Londoncool,
I am not a registered Cotonou clearing agent and that tag exist with all Cotonou Auto dealers, each dealers work in unison with their registered Beninese agent to get the job done and frankly that is all that matters(GETTING THE JOB DONE)
Secondly, you made inquiry regarding my fee and my answer to that is that my fee remains a very fair deal and i a not one of these that would bill you lower and come back to ask for more needed funding before your car can be delivered.
Clearing fee varies between N180k for cars under 1998 and up to N230k for newer cars.
Thirdly,I am a registered Nigeria custom clearing agent and i have continually been doing that for many a years but only recently made it pronounced on Niaraland and my halmark of satisfactory delivery still continues.
Furthermore, how do i get Nairalanders to trust me when all initial dealing seems to be online?very simple,i make sure my address is clearly stated on all my running thread and any desired NL can easily come to my point of contact and see where i transact my dealings from or the foreign based ones can send there approved representative to see my point of contact so they can be satisfied that at least i am not a faceless Nairalander and would definitely never criminally abscond with their funding.
In addition,if i am sure of the promised smooth delivery then i would be happy to sign such binding agreement at least that way our clients would be rest assured that we are sure of what we do and give exactly what i promised.
Lastly,it takes 3 days and a max of 4 days to have your shipped vehicles cleared and delivered to your desired Lagos abode and an extended days if it would be going outside Lagos.
Feel free to write and make more inquiries as i promise to continually remain an open book.

Keep up the good job Femmy2010.
How much would it cost to Clear a 1998 Honda accord and a 2002 Toyota Camry from tin-can.
and can you help deliver the said cars to an Abuja location.
In one of your response you said you can clear older cars without trouble right?
your response is urgently needed.
Re: CUSTOM CLEARING AGENT by femmy2010(m): 6:31pm On Jul 11, 2010
Owohblow,
sir N250k would clear either and an additional N20k would be needed to deliver either to your desired Abuja address.
There is no problem with clearing an older vehicle as all i need to do is pay a fine which is included in the quoted fee.
Would be expectant of your response.
