Ambode is really working oooo.

Look at correct investment that due to the ridiculous tax regime of the Lagos government has been set up in the more investor friendly Ogun state.

Unfortunately, this is one example of many businesses relocating to Ogun state to set up shop.

Then people like my brother deomelo will come to shout that Ambode is working when they commission bus stop. Just negodu what your neighbouring state is commissioning.

the unemployment in Nigeria is unprecedented, even during the civil war it wasn't up to 33% going by the figures released by the government. This is a good development, though i pray more indigeous entreprenuers endure these times and take up such opportunities.

Ambode is working, that is a fact. Businesses will relocate to Ogun state, more businesses will take up the spaces left behind. The market for most of the businesses relocating is in Lagos, soon some will relocate to ondo, and other places too. Its a circle. Lagos just needs to continue too reinvent itself and explore new frontiers.

You need to ask yourself why they are relocating if all is well? This is no fluke. Ogun state has for time now been putting in place business friendly policies and incentives to woo investors to their state at the detriment of Lagos denying Lagosians of jobs. Because of the harsh tax regime of Lagos, businesses now prefer to operate outside Lagos and then sell their products in the Lagos market.

This is a negative economic trend that must be checked before it is too late. Much of the well publicised Lagos IGR comes from businesses and thus responsibility behoves on the government to put in place an investor friendly business environment to stimulate productivity within the state and it's attendant multiplier effect on the economy.

For those who bless our economy by drinking beers despite the increase in Excise Tax by this wicked administration, we say thank you. Nigeria revenue has being increased, thanks also to the mindless administrators who brought up the revenue drive move and in turn taking more from the masses.

But how do we reconcile that Northern states who passed laws forbidding sales and drinking of beers in their states but posed to share from the same revenue? Is that not injustice?

I want to commend this but the only benefit of this is employment and more revenue to government and that's all. That's if Nigerian consumers adopt their brand but what we need are refineries and good source of power. The government should encourage investment in that area. Dangote is not the only Nigerian.

Ambode is doing his job.Just unfortunate that some businesses can't thrive in Laos due to factors probably beyond Ambode himself. Street urchins, multitaxation, law enforcement harassment,Traffic, logistics issue (some firm needs proximity to d source of their material).
etc. Just try delivering a truck of ordinary pure water from agbara to apogbon area then u will see. But ultimately in years coming ogun might also be suffering same thing . But can still be saved now.

PDP was there over SIXTEEN YEARS, not a single step towards restructuring was taken, but they want APC to do same in FOUR YEARS! Lemme guess, they weren't afraid of it, they just didn't like talking about it, right? Or they were about to restructure the country just before Nigerians kicked their lazy bum to the gutter ? grin
