I think there's medical view to this. But our people are just too backward. All blame goes to the government.

These kind of people are born with what is called an ambiguous Instruments.During birth, the child is born with both male & female organs.Genetic testing to determine which gender is more prominent can cost an arm and a leg obviously impossible for the average African to afford.Parents then look & determine to give the child either a male or female name.Woe unto these kids if they get to puberty & start to exhibit the characteristics of the male gender if they were assigned the female gender or vice versa.It’s hard because they struggle with identity & they don’t even know whether to change their name or not.The society too doesn’t help matters because many are ignorant, like these calling the child a witch.If not helped, such kids may even commit suicide.
