so me and my new girl has been dating for a year and some months now. Im planning on settling down with her though.

I have got to meet her mum and she happens to be cool with me. she should be in her late 30s.

But the way she is excited and always wants me to be keeping in touch is what i do not really like since i have read alot about how getting close to ur woman's family can turn ugly in the future if you finally settle down with the daughter as such im trying to be careful not to have such issues.

I buy small small things for my girls mum and 2 younger siblings like bbq fish, shawarma and stuffs like that anytime i feel like.

My girl has complained that im always distancing myself from the mum but i always dont respond to her complains.
