Witchcraft Is Not Noble. Its not even "African" by YAHREIGNS: 9:23pm On Aug 23, 2018
Many panAfricanists praise things like witchcraft in the misguided belief that because it is old, it was part of the African culture, even comparing it with Christianity. Witchcraft has never been accepted in Africa.

Did you know that witches were traditionally banned and excommunicated from their villages? That is were many still hide in forests. That was the only place they had to roam around in the old days.

Witches are Like Children When Exposed
Since the breakdown of Africa and its societies, many witches are back brushing shoulders with everybody else. My village has strange ones. Bewitching by day and night-running by night. Literally. A few distant relatives have reported stopping the old woman(naked) and scaring her out of her trance. She would then run away. To keep herself warm, she reportedly carries her recently hatched chicks close to chest as she makes her rounds inside peoples compounds in the dead of the night.

Day after day after day she runs. Just doing mischievous and vain things around peoples houses.

Once one of these has marked your house, they wake up early to your house. So one granny had to wake up every morning just to catch her rushing to one of her Childrens house and rebuke her..."those are not your agemates ... What do you want from them..." The old witch never got tired of trying. On that note, avoid the people that your elders try to protect you from.

Witchcraft is Ruthless

Imagine this. There are these two orphaned sisters (late teens) that are taken to the house of a witch doctor for "cleansing". The rituals done on them involved rape by the witch doctor. That is beside other weird stuff they were forced to do.

A local of the area, after listening to details of the ritual, was certain that what the witchdoctor performed was actually a curse.

That is the problem. People are so oblivious to evil that when they visit witches for "cleansing", They are not aware these people can just as easily subject them to bondage. They are told .. Take this powder, do this... Say that... And by the word of their own mouth they curse themselves.

The irony of witches outing their fellow witches? undecided
For the fellows who wonder how we end up with cases of an alleged witch killed, burnt, etc (I get shivers just remembering how persons declared witches in my current adopted community get assassinated).

Guess who declares one as witch ... Yep ... Another witch. Apparently some are more priviledged. More "righteous". And what is to say they don't get the more righteous members of the society and lie that they are the witches to advance their courses.
