I have downloaded them. My question is, would the system still read the phone or notice it when it's plugged in without booting into fastboot mode or any mode for that matter? My phone is non responsive even after plugging it in. Will the pc be able to read or notice the phone in this state?

instead of all this stress

why not just install the ALL IN ONE TOOL that automates all these things and can do all the flashing etc ?

Thanks chief... I am currently reading reviews about the tool. Trust me, I wouldn't go using a tool I am not completely certain of. Also, if you can go through my issue above, I will love to know your take on the situation.

search your device name + edl mode to know if you have options for reviving it

you'll need a xiaomi account with edl privileges, so your best bet is to request for help on XDA

Guys please help me, my redmi note 8 screen is blinking.

If i remove sim card it will be normal, if i put back sim card it will start blinking.

Other apps are working well insert contact that wouldn't open, they will say something "you disabled a required permission"

What I know I did in developers option is to disable the miui optimization, to allow one app work, i have enabled the miui optimization back and also deleted the app and even deleted the contact app thinking it's the issue.

Its still not working, Now I'm using my phone without sim cards, pls help!!!

As in my phone won't work well whenever I insert sim card, it blinks till it will take me to wipe phone zone

Backup your contacts to Gmail and copy your photos and other important documents to PC. If you have any pending update, use this opportunity to do it before reset

You don't need to backup your phone, it is just an OTA, you aren't clean flashing your phone.

Go to settings: apps, search for playstore and clear cache/data. Do the same for Google Play services and reboot.

You can also try another network
