We are currently seeking a full time analyst in Abuja who will be embedded within a Television station as part of their Election Monitoring Team (EMT) for the Osun State elections. The client is a major media house in Nigeria and the analyst will be based at their Abuja office for the duration of 25 days.

Key Tasks
•Collect and collate data according to Towntalk’s analysis template.
•Maintain lines of communication with field consultants and information sources.
•Form part of the Election Analysis Team.
•Coordinate with TV hosts on key issues, trends and data.
•Provide daily reports on daily research and analysis findings.
•Report directly to the management team of Towntalk on a daily basis.

Experience: Candidates with experience or interests in election campaigning, journalism or data analytics are encouraged to apply.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, good oral and spoken English, good presentation skills are required. Proficiency in Yoruba is a plus.

Qualifications: This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate of political science with interest in electioneering. Advanced degrees degree holders in the social sciences are strongly encouraged to apply.

The appointed analyst will undergo a short rigorous course on our ‘Pulse’ tool and the analytical methods. The analyst must be energetic, curious, dedicated, independent minded and willing to challenge conventional wisdom.

Renumeration: N70,000 - N120,000 depending on experience.
