Who told you Avalon is cheap, are you sure you did your market survey well. A tokunbo 2005 Avalon XL goes for 2.2m +, XLS is more expensive

2005 camry XLE 1.7m

2005 corolla Altis (high grade) 1.8m

07 below Avalon may be cheap but the facelift 08 upwards is expensive.

Corolla is compact vehicle
camry is midsized Vehicle
Avalon fullsize and targeted at executives so it has more luxury finesse than the remaining two

I get you now sir.

I was actually talking about the Nigeria used Avalon 03 - 06, comparing them with the price of Corolla 03 - 06 and Camry 03 to 06.

I saw a lot of cheap 03/04 Avalon on Jiji. About 100k cheaper when compared to its Camry or Corolla counterparts.

Please, this 03/04 engine 1mzfe 3.0L VVTI V6 210hp, what's it fuel conservation like?

This is a capitalist economy, prices are driven by market forces, if the Avalon had a 4cylinder engine, you may not be able to afford a Nigerian used it would even likely be one of the most sort after car for uber/taxify.

Fuel consumption

10L/100km highway
13-15L/100km city driving

Depending in the condition of the vehicle you could do better or worse

Thanks for taking your time to explain.

Please, I'm a learner. How many litres will a V4 Camry or Corolla use in 100km (high way and city driving)? I want to really understand the difference.

Can I save the number on your signature? So I can whatsapp you privately for any questions related to cars. Thanks in advance.

Year for year a lexus ES = very Luxurious camry. They share parts engine, transmission, shocks etc. With this I have answered your question 3 and 4

For fuel economy camry i4, ES330, camry V6 and ES350.

Class ES350>ES330>Camry

A 2007 camry XLE is a learner beside a 2005 ES330

it's a 2.5L V6 smaller in size to camry should be easy on the fuel.

I don't know much about the 4grfe engine but it would be scarce in spareparts market. your best bet would be

IS300 with the 3grfe or

is350 with the 3grfse (though this engine cost an arm and leg)

cc king406 come and review your whip to this individual

Many thanks. Still awaits king406 review.

4GR on the IS is less than 100k. 2GR on the RX is 400k.

I am not a guru pls.

From what I read online 4GR is the engine. Does that mean the engine of IS250 is less than 100k?

Also, do you have info about the gear system?

Still await King406 views on this car too.

Toyota gear are solid, engine too are solid, if the 4GR is available for that price and not scarce I did say buy the IS250 I am not just too sure about the engine but if you take care of it, shouldn't be a problem

Yes, the IS250 engine is under 100k. This is a engine has a carbon build up issue. No big deal. Use proper oil and rev it hard on the highway every once in a while and you'll be fine.

No idea about the gear.

King406's car is an IS350.

Class: ES350>ES330>Camry (I may be a bit biased here because I use an ES, but oh well.)
Fuel economy: Camry V6>ES350>ES330
Parts: All parts are available
Maintenence: ES330 generally requires the least maintenance. ES350 comes after that, and the Camry is last.

On your second point, it's a matter of choice. Assuming you aren't looking at four cylinder engines, the 2007 Camry V6 will outperform the ES. The ES is a considerably more comfortable ride, though.

You should be targeting an 05/06 ES, or an 08/09 Camry V6 XLE.
