Rotimi Akeredolu, Governor of Ondo State, has told staff of a private radio station, Adaba 88.9 FM, in Akure, to ask their ‘oga’ to construct the road that leads to the station. Akeredolu, apparently referring to Bola Tinubu, who allegedly owns the radio station, said the station management could use the influence of its owner to ensure that the road is repaired. He spoke at the dinner and award night to mark the station’s 10th anniversary, held at Bash Event Centre, Akure, on Friday. Adaba 88.9 FM is a subsidiary of TVC communications, which has headquarters in Lagos. According to Akeredolu, there was a time the road to the station was "so bad" that the Ondo State Government had to intervene, by grading it to become motorable. http://v.duta.us/7QhkaQAA |
