Who cares?
remember an area with large deposit of chalk in my town many years ago.... The whole site is now covered with houses sitting on the deposits.

Not that big a deal. We all know we have plenty of Tin left in the ground in Jos from when we abandoned other minerals for oil.

What we should be looking for is cobalt though. It is a valuable mineral for making rechargeable batteries for electric cars and solar farms. the world supply is limited and almost all in Congo and the price has almost doubled in recent years as electric car firms scramble for available supplies (law of demand and supply).

....its anothst gift the Chinese and oyinboman's industries. After they offer this scool about $1m, the school go think sey dem don hammer and just give up that portion of land.
For our intellectually lazy African people who can't take their time to do innovative research programmes to come up with new applications for this resource, they have no option but to just follow the easy route as usual
