A mother elephant protecting her young ones can wreck a lot of havoc and I bet you most of these villagers will not outrun her if it goes on rampage..
Nobody comes between an elephant and its young,what I see there with the crowding of the calf by the people is a recipe for disaster if the mother is near.

The kid must’ve been lost.

They don’t leave their babies to roam alone like this cod thy can’t see too far. They can only hear and feel their positions. That’s why body contacts is a very important part of them.

Good job for the from the governor. we need serious enlightenment extended to all wildlife not only Elephants. Serious ban should be placed on hunting of endangered species. The truth of the matter is that this falls on the government completely, the locals who are engaged in such activities often times do so in ignorance not knowing the implication of their action. LOcal farms should be established to grow most of these animal species as is being done with species like grasscutters etc.

Abeg make them no kill am or the meat!

We have useless and lifeless reporters that could be doing more to enlighten the public NTA, channels and AIT the most useless of these AIT very lifeless station boring and waste of space. You never learn anything from them.
