N45m Form: INEC Should Penalize Buhari For Violating Electoral Act - PDP Says by BeeBeeOoh(m): 8:26pm On Sep 06, 2018 |
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has said that the purchase of N45 million naira presidential nomination form for President Muhammadu Buhari to re-contest in the 2019 election violates the stipulations of the electoral laws of Nigeria. PDP also said that the purchase of the form for Buhari by a group it said is not registered smacks of fraud because, according to it, “Buhari can no longer play the pro-poor gimmick which his followers have always presented to Nigerians.” https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2018/09/n45m-form-for-buhari-fraud-violates-electoral-laws-pdp/amp/ 18 Likes 3 Shares

I watched the news on Arise News. I read the guest quoting the electoral bill that says any group whatsoever must not donate above 1million for nomination form. I'm yet to follow that with a logical inference if the particular section he quoted actually state that even if actually the electoral section stated that, then we should forget about buhari respecting or listening to any electoral law as his biggest enemy is judiciary. he said it posterior to his sworn in that what would be his biggest threat is judiciary 2015- I'm too old as I won't be able to perform as I was during the head of state rule but yet he's recontesting again. buhari special adviser should lecture and guide him on courtesy when he's about address the public 1 Like |

I love the method adopted by APC for nomination form. #45m for Presidential form had chased away destractors and mushroom contestant who have nothing to contribute than to create problems after the primary. It would have been a disaster for APC if the nomination form is reduced. A lot of people would have sponsored candidates and after the primary, they will begin to go to court claiming the primary was not free and fair. If u wanna contest, there are almost 90 political parties whose nomination fee is #1m, pls go get ur form from those parties and leave APC alone. 10 Likes 1 Share |
