I'm having a blurred vision! It all started last week thursday when i started having a feeling of a foreign object like sand on my eyes which i didn't took serious thinking it would get away after some time. On The next day which was friday, the feeling disappeared untill saturday morning when i woked up with the same uncomfortable feelings in my eyes but this time with nonstop tears rushing down from my eyes. I met a doctor the next day, sunday who gave me an eye drop and some drugs which i was taking but i started having blurred vision the next day.. So on Tuesday when I was looking at the eye on my mirror i noticed a grey or let me say a milky colored round dot covering some part of the the round black part of my eye(iris) .. I don't know what exactly is that gray thing on my eyes I'm bleeping afraid of completely losing my vision.. Any help on how to get rid of that?! exactly as of the image below

It look like cataract..But cataract does not suddenly appear out of the blues, it develops gradually.. Anyway visit an eye specialist. I don't know where u reside but I think UCH Ibadan can help you.Or better still u Travel to Europe if u have the funds..PLS DONT PLAY WITH YOU VISION O,I KNOW WHAT I WENT THROUGH WHEN I SUFFERED SIMILAR PROBLEM YEAR BACK..May God be with you..

The best advice, go see an ophthalmologist ASAP.

How old are you. Are you diabetic. If yes have you been taking your drugs? Answer ASAP.

It can also be cause by eye injury or so.

I stand to be corrected.

Op should go see an eye specialist ASAP.

The Op complained of cloudy substance in the eye, and that's a major symptom of cataract..

Corneal cancer shouldn't be ruled out also.. But cataract is the best bet

I understand why you must have posted this here.. We thank you. I think the best advice I will give you or anybody here will give you is for you to go see another doctor or more and fast. I wish you speedy recovery and all the best. Happy Sunday to you and to all.

Probably just side effects of the drug and eye drops prescribed to you by the doc. It should wear off in few days. The initial object might just be some sand which has left some bad effects on the eye.... But I don't know anything, dont take my words as ultimate. Consult a professional in the field

Yes aging is one of the common cause..

But it's hereditary too and excessive stressing of the eye tissue causes cataract

Desist from eating water melon for a while

That's cataract op. You've had it for a while just that you've not been observant. It has grown to maturity and surgery might be needed to take it out.

Visit a specialist hospital as soon as possible.

Go and see an ophthalmologist not an optician. I hope you know there’s a difference.

Don’t be over agitated, there’s a high chance that you have keratitis, an eye ulcer, more like a sore. So go see a doctor and start treatment.

Pls see an ophthalmologist today. don't see an optician o.some optician will tell u they can treat it it's a lie.i almost lost my sight some months ago. I had Conjunctivitis after my child brought it home and infected all the family.i got it last and mine was acute. i cldnt see.referred to an optician who was treating me until I had blurred vision and I went back to the clinic then was refered to an ophthalmologist who is also a professor. she gave some drugs and told me if I had delayed I would ve lost my sight.
thank God my sight is back.

Yeah, I just discovered it's hereditary, I think untreated eye injury or cause it.

See the eye ailment that can start so suddenly and attack rapidly is when u finger a lady and mistakenly run your eyes without washing your hand. That's one of the many dangers of pucy

More to me like iritis ( inflamation of the iris) or even corneal ulcer. Doesnt look like glaucoma or cataract .dont get worked up. Go see a specialist . What ever it is get help fast

That's neither cataract nor glaucoma.

That is a corneal infiltrate/Corneal ulcer as a result of Keratitis, and yes it is potentially blinding if not managed urgently and it extends to cover your pupil.

It is an emergency, you should see an eye specialist as soon as possible.

Is there any discharge? What is the name of the eye drop you used? A steroid?
