*TOPIC: BE SENSITIVE TO IDENTIFY PERSONALITIES CONNECTED TO PRINCIPALITIES (1)*
Acts 8:5-13

*The principalities in a land operate through personalities in that land*. For example, if you are a politician, a businessman, a school principal, an administrator, a leader in any place, or you at any time rise in a community, you need to know that the principalities of that community know you just like they know a church. They want to send the personality they are working with into your life or the midst of the church.

In today’s text, Simon was a personality in the land that was working in partnership and covenant with the principality of the land, and he joined himself to Philip. If Apostles Peter and John had not discerned that man, he would have killed Philip and taken over his ministry. Simon the sorcerer was looking for power and not a relationship with Jesus.

That is why I tell employers of labour to be sensitive. You must be careful that the enemy doesn’t inject one of his personalities into your workforce. If that happens, all kinds of things can begin to happen from that point on; prayers not working, finances no longer flowing, etc.

When Joseph was employed by Potiphar, his business improved. Laban was prosperous because he employed Jacob. Scrutinise every person that is coming into your workforce. Over the years, people have said that I’m too firm and I admit it. I personally scrutinize the stewards in our church and make them go through different kinds of tests for the safety of the church.

*TOPIC: BE SENSITIVE TO IDENTIFY PERSONALITIES CONNECTED TO PRINCIPALITIES (2)*
Acts 13:7-12

In today’s text, we see a man called Barjesus who attached himself to the Deputy of the Country, Sergius Paulus, and opposed Paul. The devil had attached a personality that was working with a principality to the Deputy of the Country, to be the one that determines what happens in the land. Whether you are a Christian governor or a Christian vice-chancellor, it doesn’t make any difference. *The devil wants to place one of his personalities around you so that he can dominate the spiritual atmosphere in which you are functioning.*

*The true strength of a church is not in the numbers but the aggregate holiness in the Assembly. The Church will be weak when the personalities working with the principality of the land take over leadership in the Church.*

I know of a brother with a powerful calling who had never experienced having sex in his dream until he went to a particular church where he partook of the Communion even after an express warning from the Holy Spirit not to. He thought it was a joke and resisted it but the experience didn’t stop. He had to travel to meet my friend, who is his elder brother, and narrated what happened. His brother asked him why he disobeyed the Holy Spirit and had to minister to him before he could be free from that demonic experience. That means the enemy had taken the heart of that church. *I don’t allow just anyone to serve Communion in our church because it is at the centre of Christianity. If any error gets into the Communion, we all are not safe.*

*PRAYER:* Dear Lord, I pray for heightened sensitivity to function accurately wherever I find myself in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*TOPIC: THE DEVIL HAS A PERSONALITY AROUND YOU (1)*
Acts 8:14-23

*The devil doesn’t relent in his attempt to hijack your life.* If you are starting a company, school, or anything, all the devil wants to do is inject somebody there to begin to spread insurrection, rebellion, bad work attitude, so that he can dominate and destroy what God wants to do. We must never joke about that because principalities cannot do much unless they get personalities to work with or work through.

Many years ago, we went to a small town and we found all kinds of misbehaviour there. There were parents relaying messages from their young daughter’s boyfriend to her in that town. If a Christian sister is in that town and she is not careful, the devil will want to put a boy that is a personality with the principality of the land close to her to defile her. *However, as Christians, we must be sensitive and not suspicious.*

The man in Acts 8, Simon the sorcerer, was introduced by Evangelist Philip to the apostolic team led by Peter as a convert who had joined his ministerial team, not discerning that the man was not a genuine convert. *This is the goal of the devil in every divine move – to inject his agent to pollute and corrupt divine moves.* Philip did not test Simon the sorcerer to ascertain the genuineness of his salvation.

You should not be afraid of being tested if you are genuine. I want people to test me as a pastor because I have got nothing to hide. They should test my teaching and my personality. If you have good gold, you won’t be afraid of going to the testing machine. *Wise people test before trusting.*

Simon the sorcerer would have commercialised the distributions of the Holy Ghost if Peter had laid hands on him. This would have led to errors in the Church then just like we have all kinds of errors in the Church today, and people don’t even know who a man of God is anymore.

*PRAYER:* Help me, Lord, to be thorough and sensitive in my dealings all through this year and beyond in Jesus’ name! Amen.

*TOPIC: DON’T ALLOW THE DEVIL TO POLLUTE YOUR FAMILY*
Matthew 13:25-30

*The devil can pollute families by injecting a personality on a mission to destroy the home.* I know women that opened the door for the person that broke their marriage because the person didn’t dress like an enemy. The person was known but was a personality through which the principality of the land wanted to work.

I have pastored in some places before that couples that had been married for years were doing fine until they moved into that city. It never occurred to the man that his wife was not beautiful until he relocated to that environment. After then, he started thinking of marrying a second wife because polygamy was common in that environment. So, he suddenly began to pick quarrels with his wife until he married another wife.

I also know a man that was just a mockery to old age. He was over 60 years at the time and said that his wife of many years that had laboured and built everything together with him for close to 35 years was no longer beautiful. It was a 16-year-old lady that was younger than his third daughter that he married. At close to 65 years, he became the father of a newborn baby that was not his grandchild. That was what the principality of that land did to him.

*Christians need to understand why God wants us to be under a strong pastoral covering. Men must be strong enough to cover their family because as your children go to school, the spirit of the land wants to sight them. Therefore, they must be under the strong covering of a father and mother.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, help me to unmask any hidden enemy that is on a mission to bring destruction to my family in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*TOPIC: NO PROBLEM IS PECULIAR, GOD ALWAYS HAS A WITNESS*
Revelation 2:8; 1 Corinthians 10:13

Jesus told the angel of the Church in Smyrna that He’s the first and the last. Nothing is outside of Jesus’ control and He knows what you are going through. Many times, when you are going through persecution, the devil wants you to be discouraged and make you feel that you are alone.

*One of the lies of the devil to persecuted brethren is that nobody else has gone through what they are going through; he sells them the lie that their trouble is unique.* There is simply no trouble or challenge that you are going through that somebody has not gone through and glorified God with.

*One of the greatest goals of the devil is to make you feel that what you are going through is peculiar. There is simply no peculiar problem.* No matter how bad and horrible your problem is, somebody has gone through worse and didn’t fail God. Problems are not peculiar and there is nobody defeated by a problem that God does not have a witness that conquered the same problem for.

Can you imagine a young man that says he fell into fornication because of the way a girl dressed? Joseph will stand up to witness against him that he should have jumped out through the window. If a young woman says she finds it impossible to keep herself, Mary will say she kept herself. *Somebody is going to be a witness in your areas of persecution or temptation, and you must make up your mind to be that witness.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I will work towards being a witness for You, so that You will be able to count on me as a witness when anyone across the globe is in a position of difficulty. Amen.

*TOPIC: BE A WITNESS FOR GOD TO THE WORLD* – Genesis 6:5-8; Daniel 1:8

Jesus said, “You shall be witnesses unto me (Act. 1:.” We have only thought that the witness Jesus referred to in that Scripture simply means to go and preach around. That is the surface meaning but the deeper meaning is being the one that Jesus will use as His witness. *When men accuse Jesus that what He said is not possible, He wants to be able to present you as the witness of the possibility of what He has said*. When people are saying it is not possible to live a godly life in this world, they always cite an example of failure to silence their conscience, but God will always point attention to His witnesses.

In the days of Noah, he was a witness. In the days of Enoch, nobody was serving God, angels were coming to cohabit with men and they were giving birth to fallen beings. The Bible says, “…every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually…and it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth…but Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD (Gen. 6:5, 6, .” So, Noah became the condemnation to and a witness against that age.

If every Christian in the world says today’s Christianity is no more working and we all backslide, I can assure you that you will meet three people who will say they have decided to follow Jesus all the way. You are going to find somebody because *God will always have a witness in every generation*.

*God is calling on us to be His witnesses, the ones that He can point to and call His defence and proof that what He said is true*.

*PRAYER*: Lord, You will always be able to count on me as a godly example for someone in the world. Amen.

*TOPIC: DON’T NEGOTIATE WITH THE DEVIL*
1 Peter 1:6; 5:8-10

*The Kingdom of God does not advance by discussing with the devil but by destroying each of his works.* If Pharaoh continued to love Israel, they would never have cried to be free. They would have preferred to live as honoured guests but never possessors of the land. However, as soon as hostility began, their desire for freedom increased. Nobody ever cries for true freedom until their pain becomes unbearable.

*As long as you are still tolerating something unscriptural and not the will of God in your life, the devil will keep negotiating how much freedom he can enjoy with you.* But when you get to a place and refuse to endure that trouble again, you are rebelling against that devil. It could be a sickness you are tolerating. Some people manage an occasional headache and the devil will negotiate with them to keep it like that.

A woman who had a deaf ear came to a man of God to be prayed for. After God had healed her of deafness, the man of God noticed that she was limping as she left. He called her back and asked about the leg and she said she only wanted to hear but could manage with the leg.

Some people have a problem they want to be solved and another one they are managing. *The devil is a master at negotiating with you. You need to understand that nobody has ever gained their freedom at a discussion table. Every nation that gained independence/freedom did it on the battlefield and Christians are going to have to do that.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, everywhere the devil is strategising against me in spiritual warfare, I command his exposure and judgement in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*TOPIC: INTERPRET YOUR SEASONS CORRECTLY*
Revelation 2:9; 2 Timothy 2:3

*God is primarily committed to His purpose for our lives.* When the purpose of God requires abundance and comfort, He will swamp you with it. God can make a demand for a man who has a fleet of cars to minister for six months in a village he can’t take any car to. Though he is rich, he has to live in that village like a poor man.

*Sometimes, the purpose of God requires you to intelligently and deliberately deprive yourself for some time.* Most of us usually practise this in our natural lives. For instance, if you are a tenant and you want to build your house, you can set a goal of when you will move to your house. You and your wife have to agree on the amount of money to save monthly. That means you are going to limit your lifestyle to gain something within the targeted period. God wants us as Christians to have that kind of understanding.

*You need to understand that sometimes, though you are rich, you need to be poor.* That’s why many of the things of God have not been done properly because people are not willing to go through seasons of hardship to advance in the programme of God, either for themselves or others. The Bible says, _“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ (2 Tim. 2:3).”_

*Whenever you are going through a challenge, you are not the one on trial but your faith. Many times, God wants to prove your faith to Himself, the devil, and you.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive grace for correct interpretation of my seasons. I will cooperate intelligently with Your workings in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*TOPIC: TRUTH ABOUT SUFFERING*
Hebrews 5:8; Romans 8:17-18

*There are certain things that God will call you to go through for you to mature. There are some truths about suffering we must know:*

*1. There is a type of suffering that we experience because of our mistakes.* When we make mistakes, God allows us some measure of pain to learn from our mistakes. If you don’t have any pain through your mistakes, then you are going to keep making that same mistake repeatedly.

*2. There is another type of suffering that we face because we are standing for righteousness.*

*3. There is also a type of suffering that God allows through circumstances to mature us and bring the wealth of maturity from inside us.*

*Anywhere the Bible talks of us as partakers of the glory of Christ, it talks of us suffering with Him too.* In Romans 8:17, Paul says we shall be glorified with Christ if we suffer with Him. He also says the suffering of this present time is not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us. This kind of suffering is referred to by the Bible as the affliction of the Gospel not the affliction of the devil. If you go through it complaining, you won’t mature and you are going to repeat that class.

For instance, when you start a business, there is a time you have to do everything by yourself. That is the affliction the Bible talks about and it is not caused by the devil. Yet, we are being told today that you won’t suffer anything if you are a Christian. *Even our Master suffered – the Bible says He was made perfect by the things He suffered.*

*PRAYER:* Father, I see the right suffering that You support and I’ll go through it for maturity in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*TOPIC: YOU NEED THE HEART FOR YOUR ROAD IN DESTINY*
Proverbs 24:10

I told our Bible School students while teaching them one day that they would fail if they didn’t have the kind of heart that could go through the road that their destiny called for. *There is a road you have to walk between the time you see your destiny and the time you get there. There are many things on that road that it is not knowledge that will take you through but your heart.*

I remember a boxer that said he had a punch called anywhere punch. It doesn’t matter where the punch hits, it will knock out his opponent. And his opponent told him that it was not a matter of size but a matter of the heart. When you see real fighters, it is not in their mouths but their hearts. God wants to work that kind of heart into you.

*Fear is one of the things that will not make you face Goliath.* David said, _“Let no man’s heart fail because of him (1 Sam. 17:32).”_ That was what the devil did when Goliath said, _“Give me a man, that we may fight together (1 Sam. 17:10).”_ He knew it was a matter of the heart.

*Nobody there had the heart to fight Goliath but they had the size.* Saul was taller than everybody but he didn’t have the heart for the fight. A shepherd boy who didn’t attend any military school came and he had the heart for the fight. *The suffering David faced while fighting a lion and a bear had done something to his heart.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive the heart, the grace, and the capacity required for the different seasons of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*TOPIC: WE HAVE THE SPIRIT AND THE NATURE TO OVERCOME*
Numbers 13:30; Matthew 5:11-12

*Aside from other callings that we have as Christians, there is an invitation to be an overcomer extended to us.* You will have to overcome some sufferings if you are going to inherit all things.

Jesus told the Church at Ephesus, _“To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God (Rev. 2:7).”_ *And in each letter Jesus wrote to the churches, He showed us things to overcome: affliction, persecution, and evil things people speak against us. We are to overcome the situation where people cut us away from their groups because we are standing for God. We need to overcome these things because God’s Kingdom belongs to overcomers and not participants.*

One of the things I don’t like about the Olympics is that winning is not what matters but participating. I will never get into a competition on that basis. I played football in the past and cried whenever we lost. I don’t know about you, but I hate losing. When I was playing, I hated losing and when I am supporting, I hate losing. Now, I have transferred the same thing to the devil and I hate losing.

*If the devil comes to attack your child with sickness, stand your ground and tell the devil to keep his hands off.* If it will take you 21 days fasting and prayers, give it! *You can overcome any sickness and every ancestral problem that cut people down in your family.*

*PRAYER:* Father, let the Spirit of an overcomer grip my spirit, thought, memory and tongue. I rebuke the spirit that gives up in the name of Jesus. Amen.

*OUR SPIRIT IS THE LEADER* (1) – 1 Corinthians 2:9-11

Man is a tripartite being. He is a spirit who has a soul and lives in a body. So, he operates in three worlds or realms. *The real man is the spirit*. You contact the spirit realm with your spirit, you contact the mental realm with your soul, and you contact the physical world or realm with your body. *Divine communication is brought to your spirit. God is Spirit and He communicates to us through our spirit*.

Each realm has a lot of activities going on there and because man operates in these three realms, he has to understand how to effectively dominate and be successful in the three realms. *The first line of attack of the devil if he is going to defeat man is to discredit the spirit realm to us. If he cannot succeed in discrediting it, he makes it confusing. He makes the things of God look stupid, unintelligent, irrelevant, and backward. He wants you to feel stupid about the things of God.*

Our children are being made to be ashamed of the Bible now in the world. Even many churches are afraid of the foundational matters of Christianity like casting out of devils and speaking in tongues. There are churches today that are no longer speaking in tongues publicly in their Sunday services. There are churches that do not believe in lifting hands. *Some churches became dead today because they wanted to conform to a world that does not respect their God. We must note that the spirit is and will always be the leader*.

*PRAYER*: Lord, help me not to fall for the attack of the devil at discrediting the spirit realm to me. Amen.

*TOPIC: YOUR SPIRIT IS THE LEADER (2)*

*You must always make sure that the first line of attack of the devil to discredit the spirit realm or make it confusing does not get you.* The devil discredits the spirit realm and he does not want us to get involved there. He knows that once you get involved, the first thing you will notice and find out is that he has been defeated and ejected from heaven.

*The devil is like a human being that has no natural nationality.* The devil is a stateless spirit in the spirit realm; heaven is no more his home and the earth is no more his home. That is why he is borrowing human beings to do everything he does on the earth. Hell is going to be the devil’s final destination.

*Motivational speakers want you to start from your mind but that is not God’s pattern. God starts from your spirit. Your spirit brings you revelation.* That revelation is processed by your soul and becomes instructions, steps, and directions for your body to carry out.

*The devil does not want you to start from your spirit because he can handle you if all you do is mental and physical.* The devil can always defeat man at the mental and physical levels but he cannot handle man on the spirit level. *When you allow the Holy Spirit to be the source of your revelation and information, you will defeat the devil regularly and perpetually* because he does not understand the things of God, the ways of God, and God’s patterns. Never allow the devil to discredit the spirit realm to you.

*TOPIC: DON’T BE LED BY YOUR EMOTIONS*
Romans 8:14, 16

*The soul of man has three components: the will, the emotions, and the mind. The will* is the decision-maker, the leader, the one that chooses. *The emotion* is the one that feels. *The mind* is the one that thinks. Your emotions are the closest to your body. For example, you may not feel good about someone or otherwise. However, emotions are not supposed to guide you; they are just to give you information to analyse.

*You must understand that God didn’t give us emotions to direct us.* God gave us emotions to function just like any fact-finding instrument, to obtain the facts and then analyse the facts for decisions and steps to be taken. *The devil wants to reduce human beings by moving them to follow their emotions.* We are not to follow our feelings. You are supposed to subject the thoughts that come to your mind to test and check where they are coming from, God or the devil.

*Thoughts come to your mind from God, yourself, the devil, and the world around you. You must check if the thought coming to you is sound or not and also ascertain where it is coming from.* If it is coming from around you, is it safe? If it is coming from inside you, is it sound? You are to bring your thoughts under the analytical instrument of the Holy Spirit. If a thought is not of God, we cast it down by the word of God. *Thoughts are not to be fought by other thoughts; you fight negative thoughts with the Word of God.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I bring my will under the leadership of the Holy Spirit today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*TOPIC: THE DEVIL’S ATTACK AGAINST GOD’S PEOPLE* (1) – 1 Peter 5:8

*Apart from the devil making the things of God look stupid, unintelligent, irrelevant, and backward to God’s people, another line of his attack against God’s people and the things of God is to make the ancient evil things of his look innocent, modern, relevant, exciting and in fact, the new wisdom*. He doesn’t want you to see anything wrong in sacrificing to the ancient ancestral spirits and idols in your lineage while you still come to church.

*If the devil cannot pervert the things of God, he wants to discredit it. One of the ways he uses to get this done is making his things look innocent, modern, exciting, and wise*. There are many influential and highly educated people from Nigeria that take water from local rivers with supposed supernatural power overseas. Yet, if a pastor says he went to Israel and brought olive oil from Israel, they will tear him to pieces on the pages of the newspaper while nobody condemns taking water from river overseas.

*The devil is all out there to destroy our Christian heritage*. Some Christian students studying in foreign countries are getting ashamed of Christianity because of the opinion of the people in their countries of study. I tell our church members who want to go overseas that one of my jobs is to prepare them for what they are going to meet there. Europe has become so godless in a civilized way that if you are not careful, they will take the Bible from your hands without talking about the Bible. *Don’t allow western Christianity to make the ancient evil things of the devil look innocent and modern to you*.

*PRAYER*: I will not be a victim of this attack of the devil in Jesus’. Amen.

*TOPIC: THE DEVIL’S ATTACK AGAINST GOD’S PEOPLE (2)*
1 Peter 5:8

*The third line of attack of the devil is to make the Word of God sound like the word of men. What the devil does is to make the Word of God appear as the opinion of men.* As an adjacent attack to that, he makes the leading figures of Christianity look ordinary by highlighting the faults and fallibilities in their lives to discredit their messages. *We are not to interpret the Word of God by our experiences but interpret our experiences by the Word of God.* Conversion means bringing your life to the Word of God and allowing the Word of God to adjust you.

*If you are looking at the mirror and arguing with the mirror, you are not okay. The Word of God is the mirror that God gave human beings. God didn’t say you are perfect but insist that you adjust yourself.* For example, the Word of God says, “Husbands love your wives (Eph. 5:25)”. If you are mistreating your wife as a husband, you need to adjust to that word and start loving your wife. Don’t argue with that Scripture, or else, you will need some deliverance there. *God knows that we are not perfect and that is why He gave us His Word to correct us and make us better. Once you find what the Bible says about something, begin to adjust.*

The Word of God says, “Wives submit to your own husbands in the Lord” and you say there is nothing to submit to in your husband. That is arguing with the Scripture. Don’t argue. Adjust and see what happens after that. *Don’t let the devil make the Word of God sound like the word of men to you.*

*There are three levels of work a Christian must do: Prayer-work, Faith-work, and Hard work*. Prayer-work is knee-work; you kneel and pray to God. Faith-work is mouth-work. Hard work is legwork, mind-work. *If you will live a victorious Christian life, you must work effectively on these three levels*.

*Ask yourself this question: Out of these three levels of work, where am I failing?* Prayer-work is knee-work. This is when you kneel and seek the mind of God before you step out. *After you get God’s mind and direction, you are then to put the Word of God in your mouth. This is where most Christians fail; they believe that once you have prayed, you can as well go and sleep*.

A lot of Christians fail in hard work. They think that prayer will replace hard work. Too many Christians are lazy and do not give their best to anything. *A Christian is the most advantageous person on the earth because he has God on his side and no unbeliever should catch up with him*. What you need as a Christian is to bring your mind and faculty to the work that God called you into.

When it comes to hard work, people just do the legwork and neglect the mind-work. Hard work is on two levels: your mind must be applied and your legs must also be applied. God can open a door of favour for you but you need to apply hard work and mind-work to make the most of that. For instance, somebody can ask you to come for an interview that you don’t qualify for but you must be prepared for the questions they will ask you when you get there. To fail to prepare because you have prayed is to be inviting mockery and embarrassment.

*TOPIC:THREE LEVELS OF WORK FOR A CHRISTIAN *(2) – 1 Corinthians 2:9; 2 Kings 4:1-7

*After God has prepared something for you, you must prepare yourself for that thing and you must also allow God to prepare you*. It is in the second phase of God preparing you and you allow yourself to be prepared for what God has prepared that people fail. Hard work comes in when you start to prepare yourself for what God has prepared for you. *Hard work includes mind-work and legwork; the soul and the body. It is how well you work what God gave you that will determine what will manifest.*

In the text above, the instruction of God’s servant to the woman was to “Go and borrow thee vessels, not a few…shut the door on you and your sons and pour out….” The woman went, borrowed vessels, began to pour, and then the oil stopped. The oil did not finish but stopped flowing when there were no more vessels. *The oil stopped flowing where the obedience of the woman stopped. Take note that it is not the supernatural that you do not have control over that determines how large or big your future would be but the natural that you have control over.*

The woman didn’t know what made the oil flow but she could control how many vessels she borrowed. That is hard work. *You are the one that determines how hard you want to work, how far you want to stretch, and ultimately, the manifestation you have*.

*As a child of God, you have the advantage of grace but this grace does not cancel work. You are not working to get grace; you are working with grace to become what God made you for*. Paul says, “By the grace of God, I am what I am.” That is the outcome. “The grace that was bestowed upon me was not in vain.” How did that happen? “I laboured more than they all, yet not I but the grace of God which was with me.”

When you look at those statements of Paul, they may appear contradictory: “I laboured, yet not I, but the grace….” *This is what it means: the grace of God will draw the circle of your life (and that grace draws a very generous circle that can accommodate all your dreams from God) but you will have to fill that circle with work*.

*Grace simply means that if you push well in a particular area, you will make it. It means that if you move in that direction, it will work for you, but it won’t work if you do not move in that direction*. Grace draws the circle of your life and you have to fill it with your effort. If you bring in no work, the grace will be there hanging.

However, *you need to know that you will one day stand before the Master to give account for what His grace was supposed to have made you.* The only pain is that you will pay a price if you don’t become it, but will be rewarded for becoming it.

*TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF REGENERATION*

From the word “Regeneration” you can pick generation – natural and divine birth. Doctors can tell you things that are carried in the genes. If anyone doesn’t believe in generational curses, it is because they lack an understanding of generational flows. *There are three levels of generational flows:*
** the Natural (family)*
** the Kingdom*
** the Church*

The Church and the Kingdom are connected. *The Church is the key element in developing the generational flows of the Kingdom of God on the earth.* The family is the key element in developing generational flows of the natural order. Your genes come through your ancestral lines. That is why you don’t struggle to look like your natural parents or struggle to have certain tendencies, traits, spirits, and genes from them. If some people who have interacted with you meet your siblings, they will certainly see common traits.

*Sickness is not a generational blessing.* It has been found that cancers, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, mental disorders, sickle-cell, epilepsy, allergies are passed through genes. These are generational curses.

*However, God has delivered us and saved us through the washing of regeneration. So, there is a re-gene.* When God released those genes, there was a first gene that mapped out your physical mannerism and manifestations. *When you get born-again, there is a re-gene, replacing the old genes with the genes that are under the anointing.* How then do you come up after you are born again such that you have a manifestation in life that does not follow your first line? *Ensure you never allow the manifestation of negative flows and curses in your life by taking advantage of regeneration to counter what is negative in the natural.*

*TOPIC: BE SENSITIVE TO NATURAL DONATIONS AND BATTLES FROM YOUR ANCESTRY*

*God placed a natural order on the earth through genealogies and if there is no divine intervention, it will take place.* When Christians don’t understand this, they can find themselves with a natural order that physically predicts that they die young. This premature death sentence will eventually happen if they don’t do anything about it. Many Christians have accused God of failing them when it was ignorance and not God that failed them.

Many churches don’t have time and don’t take time to teach this kind of knowledge. Suppose you come from a family where your parents are divorced, you need to understand that your soulish dimension has a donation of the tendencies that will attract you to a woman or a man whose characters are so incompatible with yours and end up with a divorce. If you are not sensitive enough to fight against it, that negative flow of divorce will catch up with you. Spirits have been authorised by that act of your parents to work attacks of divorce against their seeds.

What you call ancestral battles are the battles that defeated our ancestors and now faced their seeds. Why must you be victorious in your generation? *Why must you make sure that you conquer the battles and issues you are dealing with? It is so that you can hand over generational victory to your children.* In this way, failure for your children will be their fault and not a donation from you. You must know what kind of donation you have received from your parents and stop it. *Ensure you fight and win every battle in your ancestry.*

God gives you a foundation to start by Kingdom regeneration. Then, He brings you to a church where the tendencies that will counter negative natural tendencies and order will be formed inside you. *The Church is not a place to go and show on Sunday; it is a place where the new genes are to be developed in you to give you a new life and a new manifestation**. You can’t go to a church that doesn’t hold you accountable because such a church will fail you.

You are to believe in Jesus as your Head and belong to a church as your family. You are accountable to the church. *Church membership is not attendance; it is followership and accountability*. If every professing Christian in Nigeria that attends church is accountable to the authority of a God-ordained pastor, they would behave better while holding governmental positions because the pastor will hold them accountable.

*The Church is key in helping you activate the Kingdom process that can bring divine intervention against negative natural donations in your life*. The family is where the generational and natural genes are fashioned. If your father is an alcoholic, he will train you to be one if you stay in that family long enough. He would teach you how to pour beer into a cup such that it doesn’t foam. When some people hold their pen, you will know they used to smoke because they hold it like a cigarette. What you call “the flesh” is the training that the devil gave your body while you were under his control. That is why “the flesh” is one of your enemies.

*TOPIC: SUBMIT TO KINGDOM TRAINING (1)*
1 Timothy 4:4-8

*The devil will defeat you if you depend on your natural training alone. In fact, ancestral cycles and generational donations will thrive more in your life if you lack Kingdom training.* Before you got born again, your body had been trained in certain ways to behave and respond to sin, depending on what you have been exposed to. When you get born again, you have to retrain your body to respond to God, else, negative generational flows and ancestral battles will catch up with you.

*The devil is gaining strength and victory in some people’s lives because they have not opened up fully to Kingdom training.* Your body has been trained to behave in specific ways towards the devil and towards sin and you have to retrain that body to respond to God after you get born again.

When somebody goes to study professional courses like Engineering, Accounting, Medicine or Law, they take them through some *disciplines to bend their natural tendencies in a particular way, so that they are formed into a particular kind of personality mentally.* In the same way, church membership is to do that to everyone that comes into the Kingdom.

Some people have been in church all their lives and some have been born again for over 10 years. What advantage does somebody that has *natural life* of 40 years, *Kingdom life* of five years, and *church life* of three years have over the person that has natural life of 20 years, Kingdom life of 15 years (because he got born again at five), and church life of 15 years? The advantage is a mental and body advantage that comes from a longer natural age and that can be negative.

*The Church is the visible expression of the Kingdom of God on the earth.* When an individual becomes born again, he receives Jesus, the Head of the Church. Such a person then belongs to Jesus, believes in Jesus, but Jesus puts him/her in the custody and training of an identifiable church structure. *It is that church structure that is to shape that new believer.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive a deeper understanding to submit to Kingdom training and be shaped to develop Kingdom genes that express Kingdom flows, traits, and tendencies in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Let the Church harness the potentials of eternal life in you. The Church activates the genes of divinity that have been placed inside our spirits at new birth by asking us to behave in a particular way and taking us through a process. Church membership must not be for attendance or a show; it must be business, school, and training. Everybody is ordinary until trained.* A soldier is ordinary until trained. A lawyer is a human being that went through legal training. Similarly, the Church is the Kingdom training centre. So, what training have you been going through since you came to church?

*There is a force, I will call it “father-power,”* that affects everybody from four generations behind, and there is a “father-power” in you that will affect four generations forward. *The Church comes in to bring regeneration – a different kind of force – into what has been put in you.* If you received an injection from generations behind to struggle in any area, God has given you a regeneration when you got born again. *All you need to do now is to settle down into a Kingdom programme. That is what the Church is all about.*

*Some people will require very intensive activity depending on the donation they are carrying and the damages that have been done.* The desolations of many generations are the ancestral destinies that have been damaged, the potentials that had been truncated down the line and resulted in people becoming different from what they are supposed to become. *You must rise to stop the curse and take advantage of Kingdom training to trigger the blessing.* The first person that rises to stop the curse in the family will pay a higher price because he is bringing a new flow in. If he does it wrong, he will make the work of others more difficult.

The fact that you have faced opposition from hell from birth is a pointer to the greatness of the light that shone when you were born. There are demons and angels at the birth of every human being on the earth. *Every birth is signaled by a light that flashes in the spirit realm*. There is truth in the submission that occultists see the stars of every man but most of them don’t know the implication that the light shows the intensity of the person’s destiny on earth. Occultists seek from the devil to harness the force of that spiritual destiny. *Everyone has the spiritual donation of Heaven to back up their life, but you will be on the losing end of life if you are not aware of your destiny before the devil does*.

Many of us started life with parents who don’t even know who they are. *A boy with a blinding light at his birth will attract immediate demonic attention and the devil will fill his life with so many problems so that by the time he discovers his destiny, he will not have time for that destiny but be solving problems for the rest of his life*.

The father of Samson asked, “How shall we order the child? (Jud. 13:12).” Some destinies are so specific in details that one moment of error cannot be afforded. Some mistakes are not costly. David made a mistake and he still fulfilled his destiny. However, *there are some destinies that God comes to early because they cannot afford to make costly mistakes.*

I want you to have a different view and approach to your church life. *When you are called to take up assignments in church, it is to equip you for your life position. Every effective member of the Kingdom is an automatic leader in human society.* All the forces that the world is looking for in leaders are impacted naturally in the Kingdom and cultivated as the genes of the Kingdom. So, *be an effective member of this Kingdom and you will be a leader in the family and the society and be able to fulfil all that God planned for you.*

*Each of us represents different things at different levels.* In my family, I was the critical member that brought the Spirit of God and the anointing into the lineage. *Your role may be different in your family, but you must embrace it first and tell God you will carry that call. Will you do it for God? If you agree, He will take you seriously and then show you the road.* Paul suffered but his name and life have become generational today.

*You are tolerating too many things now and it is time for you to let the spirit of fathering knock them out of your life and shape you for the future. Stop walking with foolish people that have no future they are going to.* When the Lord wants to hand over leadership to His people, He will allow the world to face problems that they can’t solve. It is those that are prophetic that will be able to pick the signals in the spirit and use their professional minds to bring the answers without any argument.

*TOPIC: GENERATING RESULTS IN LIFE BY FAITH *– Mark 11:22-25; James 2:14-26

Welcome to April. This month, expect shocking miracles, shocking blessings, shocking breakthroughs, and shocking promotions!

The subject of faith is often misunderstood by many believers. A lot of this misconception comes from wrong or incomplete teaching on this all-important subject. The sad consequence has been that many believers live a suboptimal life that is bereft of the advantages (which are only accessible by faith) that God has provided for His children.

*Our faith must be educated if it must produce the right results. Your faith is a God-given tool to pull the intangible realities of the spirit realm into your life. No faith, no victory. Where there is ignorance of God’s word, there is defeat, and where there is faith, there is victory*.

Mark 11:22-25 outlines the principles that you can apply to obtain divine results in any situation requiring faith in God to produce a divine result, whether it is prayers, casting out demons, or obtaining promises. *In every case of exploit of faith in the Bible mentioned in Hebrews 11, Mark 11:23 was what they used. Even David, when he was confronting Goliath, used the same principles*. So, as a child of God, you must understand this passage and study it.

This month, the Devotional will focus on GENERATING RESULTS IN LIFE BY FAITH with key highlights on the necessary complements that make faith deliver on its promises, the corresponding actions that make faith come alive. The lessons from this month could very well be the missing link you’ve been searching for to bring a new lease of life and vitality to your faith walk.

*TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING THE TWO ASPECTS OF FAITH IN THE BIBLE*
2 Timothy 4:7; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 11:1; Romans 10:17

*When you see the word “faith” in the Bible, it speaks of two aspects of the Christian life.* Firstly, it is *the set of beliefs* a person must have before he/she can be called a Christian. Secondly, it is *the release of power or the ability* of the substance that God puts inside a man that connects his natural life to the power of God.

*You can be very excellent in the set of beliefs but lack the substance of faith that connects your life to the power of God, and that is what leads to confusion.* Imagine somebody that is accurate in his belief system, may even be a professor who has gone through seminary and has a degree in Theology, but knows absolutely nothing about the substance of faith that connects a man’s life to God’s power. When something bad happens to such a person, it is disappointing to people around him that his result in life is not different from the person that doesn’t know God. So, people wonder why that is so because they cannot see the difference between him and the person that doesn’t believe in God.

*You have to be proficient in these two aspects of faith.* In another instance, you may find some people that are good in the substance of faith but are very weak in their belief system. Therefore, it’s good for you as a Christian to be balanced in your understanding. *The truth of the matter is that you will get to heaven if your doctrine is correct but you will not enjoy your living on the earth if you don’t understand the subject of faith. So, we must have that balance constantly.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I come against every attack of the enemy targeted at my Christian faith and my ability to release the substance of faith within me in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: TYPES OF RESULTS IN LIFE (1)*
Proverbs 10:22

From the study yesterday, we saw that *it is the substance of faith that joins a man’s life to the power of God or causes a man to have divine results in his life.* This immediately shows us that there are other types of results. These are:

*1. Demonic Results*
*This type of results can come in three ways: sin, crime, and occultism.* For instance, there are five friends in the university, a girl and four boys, and they all have cars except one of the boys. The girl among them got her car from her sugar daddy (a boyfriend as old as or even older than her father) in town. One of the boys is a member of a gang that robs, and he bought his car from the proceeds of those crimes. Another of the boys is a fraudster who also bought a car from his fraudulent earnings. Then the fourth one comes from a wealthy family, so, his father bought him a car. Which one of those cars are owned through legitimate means? I hope you agree with me that it is the fourth person’s car.

They all have results of car ownership but the sources of the results are not the same. Then there is the fifth person whose father is dead. He is not a crooked person and he came to church and prayed, “Father, I believe You for a car.” Then, God puts it in the heart of somebody to give him a car. So, there are five different cars but they didn’t come the same way. The fifth one is a divine result. It was not natural, it was not demonic, it was not sinful, and it was not occultism.

*Occultism is when somebody joins himself or herself to the devil for help.* If you see the four boys driving their cars on the road, you would think that they are all good boys. *Therefore, not all the results in life are the same. You must repent and make a change if you are trafficking in any of these three ways of demonic results.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I pray for open eyes to discern the offer of the devil in form of sin, crime, and occultism, and I receive the wisdom to profit with the divine in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: TYPES OF RESULTS IN LIFE (2)*
Mark 11:23-24

Yesterday, we looked at the first type of result a man can obtain in life – the demonic result. Today, I will be showing you the other two types of results that are obtainable in life: the human results and the divine results.

*2. Human Results/Natural Results*
For example, some people believe that when you work hard, life will give you something. That’s a natural result. Everybody can have that until Satan shows up or something shows up that natural life cannot handle.

*3. Divine Results*
When we come to God, we are free to choose between natural results and divine results. God gave us a substance called faith, such that working with it will bring our lives in connection to His power to bring divine results into our lives. When you get born again, one of the things that God wants to do for you is to show you how to bring divine results into every area of your life so that you do not live by natural results only.

*A natural result is not simple, but it is all right. The Bible says that in every labour there is profit (Pro. 14:23a), but when there is a crisis, that profit is going to disappear.* Therefore, we must know how to connect our lives to divine power so that we can have divine results.

*PRAYER:* Lord, I connect my life to the divine and shut the door to every demonic influence. Let the divine take over in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: LAWS GOVERN RESULTS IN LIFE*
Joshua 1:8

*To be clear, laws govern all results, including the one from the devil. Every result will cost you something because people believe that nothing goes for nothing.* The lady that is sleeping with a sugar daddy has a car to show for that labour. It is a labour that is going to take her to hell but she is working. The one robbing in the night has also worked. Do you know that some thieves go to the gymnasium more than normal people? However, their reason for going to the gym is not to stay fit for healthy purposes but to be fit for crime – to make it difficult to catch up with him if he is chased in the process of doing his “work” of robbery.

If you go to the devil for results, he will give you but will take something very precious in return. However, you need to know that the devil doesn’t collect a one-time payment; he collects regular payments. God is the only One that gives blessings that keep working as long as you understand and work the law. *You need to master the laws and principles that guide the good success (Jos. 1: God planned for you.* Once you are a child of God, you are no more of the world and you cannot do what unbelievers and occult people do.

You obtain natural results when you go to your office or shop in the morning, customers come, your boss insults you but you make some money, and you have to think about it before you give a dime out of the money you earned from that. That’s why it’s not easy for some people to give offerings or tithes in church. God knows it’s not easy and that’s why He says He will take care of the rest if we trust Him with our tithe, the first ten percent, because we laboured for the money.

*PRAYER:* Holy Spirit, educate me in the divine and teach me to walk in the laws that produce divine results in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: STEPS FOR YOUR FAITH TO WORK WELL*
Psalm 1:1-3

*If your faith is going to work very well, you need to master and understand these three steps very well:*

1. Hearing the word;
2. Speaking the word; and
3. Doing the word.

*These three steps form the process of faith.* A process is a set of actions that are intentionally carried out to obtain a set result. So, when we talk about a chemical or biological process, we are dealing with actions that produce a result. *The result we are looking for is what God said in His Word. If you are going to have what the Bible says on anything, you must set the process of faith in motion.* For example, there are chemical reactions carried out in Chemistry to obtain a particular result, and every time the process is done the same way, it will yield the same result.

Most people jump to “whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” when they read Psalm 1:1-3. If somebody says, “Whatsoever you do shall prosper” and you say, “Amen”, you are a gambler. *The Church is full of spiritual gamblers who just pick Scriptures without finding out the instructions behind them, and that will not work.* It is not everything you do that will prosper. That Scripture is connected to other Scriptures. *So, you have to find out what it is connected to, obey it, and then you will have the result. For that to happen, you have to hear what the Word of God has said on that issue, then you have to put it in your mouth and do it.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I pray for an open and right heart that correctly receives and applies Your word in Jesus’ name. Amen!
