The Boko Haram terrorist group, also known as ISIS-West, has released propaganda images showing the attack on Gudumbali town, the headquarters of Guzamala Local Government Area in the northern part of Borno State. 

The pictures shows Boko Haram insurgents attacking military positions as well as seized weapons. 

The Gudumbali attack by Boko Haram occurred, on Friday evening, and lasted for about four hours, fleeing residents and military sources around the area said.

The insurgents came with high calibre weapons, firing into the town and attacked the military base, the sources disclosed.

Scores of troops and residents, mostly returnee internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), were killed but the military has kept mute about the casualty figure.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Army on Sunday said normalcy has returned to Gudumbali in Guzamala Local Government area of Borno state after a combination of troops from 82 Division and the 158 Task Force Battalion engaged Boko Haram Terrorists in a combat which lasted several hours.

The picture clearly shows a more organised bono harms than we used to know which is proof that Boko haram has actually grown under the Buhari govt from a rag tag force of barefeet urchins to an organised army with new new double axled pick up him trucks and proper russian built DShk heavy machine gun , we can also see form the pictures their fighters are now better kitted with proper uniforms and battle boots ...this is all thanks to to the generous funding they have been receiving from the Buhari govt as ransom from their abduction business ...

You are probably unaware that Boko haram have sympathisers and those who are at best, indifferent to their exploits. These people are Muslims and they have realised that Boko haram is fighting for a divine injunction as laid down by the Quran.

Boko haram is fighting a jihad for Sharia, and they call their opponents " murtaddin". This same sharia has been passed throughout the North by their governors. Boko haram is now fighting for the power to implement it without fear of secularity.

You either recognize this fact or continue being politically correct with their sympathisers on nairaland, who will slit your throat if they get the chance.

The north created these monsters via their oppressive mix of religion and poverty. They must stew in it.

Buhari said Boko haram deserve amnesty. When Boko haram were being decimated in 2014, Elrufai and other filthy northern elders said it was a fight against the North and they went further to foreign countries to prevent them from selling arms.

So what has changed now? Is the fight still against the North?
