The rest is controllable but data, u just can't go without it. Imagine yesterday I tried subbing from my bank and it showed error at first, and worked the second time. Not knowing that mtn deducted the first and now I bought 2500# twice, I nearly wept!!! How could they have done that to me

this is so sad in this Nigeria. when you are spending out #5,000 and you have not yet earn #500.
In Europe, people usually spend far less as compare to Nigerian despite their huge wealth. this is the main reaon why they can never get poor.
May God help us

Have you actually live outside of this country? I doubt it. Do you know how much is spent on fuel, electricity, gas. Do you know you have to pay for both water coming into your home and the waste water you send out.

The only difference is you can live your whole life on debt thanks to credit card. Secondly, there is social policy that you claim some benefits, the same this government is trying to do through their handout to the poor.

Data . I spend more than 5k monthly whenever I'm in Nigeria despite limiting my online activities. But whenever I'm abroad, I play my songs directly on YouTube, video chat always and all my personal business activities mostly online, still spend less than equivalent of 3k a month. There is free Wi-Fi everywhere, data is one of the cheapest item abroad. But in Nigeria, people find it difficult to eat, no money in circulation still data very expensive. What a country.

I cut down on fuel for powering generator but I spent no less than than #7500 on data but it's all mainly for making money. A couple or so on those list is inevitable if they are essential to your business.
