On 9 July, NYSC Director of Press and Public relations, Adeyemi Adenike released a statement that confirmed that Adeosun legitimately submitted a request for an exemption certificate, but also stated that investigations were still ongoing to verify the approval of the exemption certificate.

On 14 September, 2018, Adeosun resigned as Minister of Finance due to the alleged NYSC Certificate forgery scandal.

For those of us who are old and wise enough to understand how the system in this country works, we are already aware that the system operates on the basis of bribery and man-know-man.

Actually, some people behind the issuance of the fake NYSC gave Premium Times the info. Kemi was a thorn in the flesh of many people. She equally stepped on many toes. This clearly shows that many of the PMB's appointees that have not been uncovered might have submitted fake academic certificates.
I just hope that Nigerians will continue to check these fraudulent people's credentials. We still have many Kemis in this PMB's government.

This is administrative official Maradona. She came to the country at age 34 she would be ineligible for NYSC. How many times do we in Nigeria contact government officials for drivers license, etc and discover years later that the document is not officially valid. Yoi can go and pay custom duty in the custom office and discover its not valid. That's not news to anybody.

The term FORGERY is misplaced I am sure nobody believes she forged this document. It seems there is under handed manipulation.

He didn't declare or release his tax returns to the public during the debate because he was covering and shielding how much he makes from the public.

NYSC is not a judge of competence, but forgery is a criminal offense. Kemi was not criticized because she didn't serve or did NYSC, she was criticized because she presented a fake document, people should get it very Cleary as there's a big difrence.
The constitution didn't say someone without NYSC can't hold a position, infact, there's no educational qualifications for been minister.

I’ve seen many people abroad who paid people here to help them get divorce letter but at the end when the embassy involve will verify the divorce letter, one will be surprised most of them are fake. because they won’t find the record in the court that they claimed to have issued such divorce letter.

You need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she did it on purpose and not a victim of scam. Many people drive their imported cars around without knowing the custom papers are fake. Some even drive without knowing their licenses are fake.
