jokerr: My prayers have been answered. I have 80% physical manifestation. The remaining 20% have been answered. I believe, even though I have not seen manifestations. Even though I might not get them all, I trust God if he decides not to answer the remaining few...let's say 5%. He might have a reason for not answering. Why are prayers not answered ? 1. Who is doing the prayer? A Christian or a child of God ?. Does God know him ? Does he have a relationship with him? 2. God DOES NOT LISTEN TO A SINNER. As a matter of fact, the prayer of a sinner irritates God. You have to make up your mind to live a holy life and get answers INSTANTLY... or live in sin and continue to DISTRUB GOD WITH YOUR PRAYERS. 3. What is he praying for? 4. What does he want to do with what he is praying for? 5. Does he have faith? 6. Does he have faith even though the answers appeared delayed physically? 7. 1. If you don't have a relationship with God, don't bother to ask him of anything...he won't answer you. Anything but mercy... The only thing you can ask God as a sinner is Mercy. If the prayer of mercy is from a sincere heart, he will respond. 2. What are you praying for? Money? Wealth? If it won't harm you, he will give you. If it will and he loves you, he won't give you....Not until you are matured for it. A man who has riches without God will self-destroy ... God can give someone money to punish him. A child would cry for a blade....that doesn't mean you as an adult will give it to him.. When he can handle it, you give him freely. 1 Like |

If it is what you really need, he will respond immediately. He said...Before you call I will answer... Before you speak I will respond. On the first of January, just after cross over, my 11 months old baby inhaled bread and was gasping for breath. 12 hours to that time God showed me that a snake bit her. (God really loves me.) I was afraid and I started speaking in tongues... Yet afraid.. She was rushed to the hospital and was placed on oxygen.. It was discovered, after tests, that she has pneumonia and malaria... Plus bread in her lungs. Three hours after, she was playing in Emergency Unit. People kept on asking what she was doing in emergency. I needed a quick help from God...he responded. sKeetz: In the name of Almighty God, I share this testimony.. No lie is present. I was born with a disease in the mouth. It brings pain at least once in a week. I got used to it... After all my father had it too. One day, after I started working with God... I got an inspiration that whatever I allow is allowed. Whatever I reject is rejected. I prayed for 2 minutes... A very sincere prayer.. God responded . 13 months and counting, I am yet to feel it. I can speak to God Almighty and he will honor my words.. He said he will honor me. God Almighty cannot honor a pagan or an atheist. He has nothing to do with them... Except his general mercy of rain, sunshine and Providence. 1 Like |

Some prayers are answered based on Gods timing.. Elizabeth was Baden, she and her husband... The Bible recorded that they served God and were righteous.. It Yet, they were barren. They prayed...but no answer.. It was in the plans of God, that the child they will give birth to will be a forerunner of Jesus... John was supposed to be six months older than Jesus.. Timing.. Originakalokalo: This is nothing extraordinary...people(religous and non religous people inclusive) with worst illness like cancer get well without any explanation. The cancer cells just go into remission. Because we don't understand why this happens is not enough reason to ascribe it to one sky daddy. You can do better than this Mr originakolokolo. Let's talk about faith. Some people reject a curse from someone by saying "God forbid" They believe that those spoken words could harm them. But they don't believe that their own spoken words can be answered by God. Some believe that a witch is responsible for their misfortunes.. But they don't believe that God can protect and empower them for victory in all areas of life. Through wrong believes, men have handed over the control of their lives to the devil. He tosses them here and their as he pleases. You cannot be harmed by any spiritual being as a child of God... Unless you handed over your supremacy to them through wrong believe. A body inhabits the holy spirit of God cannot be inhabited by the demons... It is just impossible... What do you believe? Do you believe that your prayer can be answered? 1 Like |

Faith to Wait for Manifestation. A man with cancer was prayed for....and in six months, it disappeared. Some healing take place instantly while some take time. Some prayers have been answered the moment the prayer was rendered. Yet, it takes time for manifestation. God might have heard a prayer about getting a good job...and it might might take 6- 12 months (for instance) For its manifestation. Do you have the faith and patience to wait for the physical manifestation of your prayer? 1 Like |

Lastly, what is the will of God concerning the prayer ? Apostle Paul prayed concerning a torn in his flesh.. . We don't know what that was, but Bible scholars believe that it could be an ailment... God told him to let it be. God told him...MY GRACE IS sufficient for you. Meaning, leave it as it is. With the level of Miracles God performed through him... Maybe that ailment was left in his body so that he won't see himself highly that necessary.. What is the will of God for your life ? You want a job in an oil company, Whereas God wants you to be a preacher of the word who will become an international preacher, More recognized, honoured and wealthier than working in an oil company... If he loves you, he won't answer you...he will find a way to put you in his path. It will be painful when you don't get your appointment letter... But he has a higher and better plan for you.. If you ask God anything that is inline with his will for you... He responds sharply. Look at what you are asking God.... Is that his will for your life? If I had gotten a job with slumberger, Nnpc and nlng the time I applied for these Jobs, I would have been a chronic womanizer who believes that he got all he had through his abilities... It was painful..very painful. I worked hard..was a formicator and an adulterer. But I knew there was a God.I prayed to him to give me one of these jobs...Obviously, he didn't answer. Maybe i probably would have ended up in hell by now... Now, He has bigger plans for me and i have seen them all. I no longer struggle with him. Let him take me to wherever he wants...I will follow him. These are reasons why prayers may not be answered. God bless you all. |

Maybe you are praying to God to give you a job so that you can marry that lady... and that lady is not his will for your life. If he loves you, he won't answer you. One day, I put a very hot food in my daughters plate..she was hungry and cried that I handed over the food to her... I declined. Because I had to blow it and make it cold.. It would harm her...she thought I didn't want to give her.. She was very bitter.. I handed over the food to her when I knew it was safe for her. That that I appreciated my heavenly father.... You want a job in a bank...he wants you to work in a federal agency. You want your dad to be healed... He wants to take him home to rest..in death...because if he is left behind, he will derail and go to hell later in life... It is a pity...How we misinterprete his intentions for us. He would be six months older than Jesus. I speak of John the Baptist. 35 years of prayer of fruitfulness was answered when it was right with the timing of God. Wait Patiently for him.
