The letter was written by the Federal Government and nobody is crying foul or going to the social media shouting Government interference. Obviously, there are times when Government interference is fashionable and for the good of all. All the hues and cries about FIFA’S hammer is all noise in the market place. FIFA can never succeed without the government of each member country,(FIFA is a conglomeration of CAF, UEFA, COMMEBOL,CONCACAF ETC, independent, powerful continental bodies.) no hosting right is given out without government approval.
