You don't call people novice when you are not sure...this is a public forum, if you don't know ask questions!
Governorship election is different from legislative elections. Tenure of all members of 8th senate ends with 8th senate, irrespective of the numbers of month or years individual senators used.

lolsssss, u are d novice here bro.

Senate election is every 4years. When someone dies or something happens, any election done is to replace and continue from that year.

Have u heard of the word "by-election"? That's what brought Adeleke in.

In Delta State, a senator died in 2013. The eventual winner of the by-election left in 2015.

Just google it to know more, thanks.

No, you don't do that. He may be genuinely ignorant just like many other young people on the position of the constitution as regards membership of the legislature.

Ordinarily Nairaland should be a home of knowledge where people seek for knowledge on a broad range of issues, but unfortunately and sadly it has been turned to something other than that.
