Canada is still run by white men and yes there are lots of asians. Canadians aren't as dumb as I thought, the Asians have money but a handful of wealthy white Canadian families own everything else in the country.

Flights to Asian counties are much from Vancouver. We need more blk people

You're right!

In as much as Canada tends to claim that they're the most immigrant- friendly advanced country I notice that they tend to discriminate in a subtle way against blacks when it comes to most of their legal avenue to immigrate to Canada. Hoping my assessment is right.

Nigeria is under heavy yoke of blood burdens. If the current terrorist in Aso rock continues... I fear for her future.

Those killed between May 2015 till date are far higher than the death toll in Nigerian civil war.

lol!...Kind of yes/no at the same time.

Yes, depending on the specialties like surgeons and the likes.

No, because now some States are now allowing Nurse Practitioners to take up most of those specialties like family medicine, Psychiatrics, internal medicine and pediatrics. So the need for doctors in these fields are not necessary.

Majority of states still require Nurse practitioners to be under the oversight or supervision of a physician. Indeed the NP system was instituted becasue of a shortage of docs especially in the rural areas.

Accra, Ghana. 12 midnight, Uber driver didn't run the red lights, there were no police or cars before him. He just waited for the green light shocked shocked
I looked back and other cars behind were waiting too.

Those guys are far more civilized than nigerians, rarely would they use their car horns.

No police escorts for the whites there.

All through my stay, light didn't blink.

If I had my way, I would stay.
Great

You are very funny o

What's your problem with my choice?

not every one wants their kids to be associated with their countries of origin, especially when your country of origin is NIGERIA undecided

For those who want to take their kids there, fine, but as for me, my uncle's, my sisters and most of us, NIGERIA ended with us.....

it's a fresh start for our descendants cheesy grin

So what happens when later years, maybe your great gran child decides to trace their origin or don't feel belonged. Don't burn all your bridges it doesn't matter if you have got 10 descendants living in the states.

Regardless the children would always be considered African even if they have never been there.

well different strokes for different folks

Nigerians in particular like Nigeria because it's a LAWLESS COUNTRY

I mean, if you have the cash, there are SO MANY poor people around that are ready to be your lackey undecided

And if ever Nigeria gets better, many of such perks will vanish

I'm not a multi millionaire in dollars (yet, even tho I dey try)
But if I'm a millionaire in $$$
Id rather live in a ranch somewhere in the Caribbean / South America, or may be SA than live in that $hithole called Nigeria undecided

but that's me.

All these things boil down to individual perspectives tho

Some like being the well off one in the midst of so so much poverty
I don't
Ugosample, please which of the south American countries are u talking about?

I've read most of your posts on this thread. Dude, sorry to say you got your heads in the cloud. Maybe because you've spent so long abroad and you are homesick.

Nigeria is not what you think. I repeat.. NIGERIA IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK! It is a land of hardship, anger and frustration. Don't be decieved by the suffer and smile lifestyle.

Yes there is a better sense of community here but trust me, it's because there's no other option. When there's no light, wont you go out and gist with neighbours? who will sit inside in darkness? We need each other to survive in this decrepit land.. but believe me, the minute Nigeria develops like the western world, all these social whatever will stop.

Regarding opportunities, they are only there for the rich and connected. Someone like you may struggle since you've been abroad for so long. There are many returnees like you regretting their decision to return.

The best option is to live abroad and come home regularly for holidays. A word is enough!

Too much sense all over! .. This was the same thing i thought when I recently visited nigeria. Truly, the community is bonded by suffering.. That's why when you try to hail your fellow guy, he is quick to remind you that heis also suffering like you... Like... "baba I still be your boy o" "You be my oga.. Chairman" When things improve, trust me everyone will start minding their own business.... I like your thought process.. Its not a mass herd mentality
