Linksoft Communications Systems (Nigeria) Ltd is a subsidiary of a leading regional turnkey telecommunication network infrastructure solutions provider that includes supply of equipment, installation and testing, commissioning and maintenance of telecommunication networks. We are currently expanding our operations into the North Central Region and are looking for a team of self-driven, highly motivated and competent persons to fill up new positions in our GSM BSS Maintenance division.


1] Maintenance Planner/NMC Supervisor - LCS [N] OO1/O7

Key Responsibilities:
•Overseeing 24hr operations of a maintenance activities coordination centre which is the link between the clients' network monitoring centre and our field service teams.
• Developing the monthly preventive maintenance route plans for the field operation teams and coordinating the same with the field teams.
• Identifying and classifying works from field reports for execution as planned maintenance
•To carryout the Planned Maintenance planning and scheduling activities by identifying the technical and administrative requirements of jobs
• Identifying possible sources of materials and specialized tabor supplies for planned activities
• Preparation of reports Qualifications and experience:
•A University Degree in Engineering
• 3 years relevant experience in a busy maintenance facility
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong planning and organizing skills
• Good analytical skills

2] Shift Maintenance Controllers [NMC] - LCS [N] 002/07
Key Responsibilities:
•Taking accurate details of equipment and plant breakdowns from clients and escalating the problems to the field teams
•Technical engagement with the field teams in analyzing the problems
• Communicating the activities of the field team with the clients operations centre
• Maintaining and updating the maintenance activity logs
• Data and report entry into the computer integrated system
• Preparation of reports that benchmark against the Service Level Agreement (SLA) Qualifications and Experience:
• Ordinary Diploma in engineering from a recognized institution.
•2 years hands-on experience in a busy engineering maintenance facility
• Excellent computer, data analysis and reporting skills
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

3] Field Maintenance Team Supervisor - LCS [N] 0O3/O7
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead specialist of a field maintenance team mandated to take care of a GSM Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) power, air-conditioning equipment and other site installations and facilities,
• Carrying out preventive maintenance activities of electric power generating units, air conditioning units, other site installations and general house-keeping of the site
• On-call 24hour on emergency breakdowns or service/security affecting failures on site
• Maintenance of a scheduled plan of activities on the preventive maintenance
• Daily reports on works done and observations Qualifications and Experience:
•Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive or Electrical Engineering
• 5 years hands-on experience in maintenance of plant and equipment
•Applicants with experience in the maintenance of GSM Base Transceiver Stations' power and air-conditioning equipment will have an added advantage
•Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
•Valid Driving license

4] Field Technicians [Mechanical/Electrical/Air-condition units )-LCS [N]004/07
We require a multi-skilled team comprising of Electrical (Power option), Mechanical and Air conditioning specialists to be part of our field maintenance operations for GSM Base Transceiver Stations facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out preventive maintenance activities of electric power generating units, air conditioning units, other site installations and general house-keeping of the site
• Strong bias towards either
1. Electric Generating Sets
2. Air conditioning Units
3. Electric power & controls
• On-call 24hour on emergency activities
Qualifications and Experience:
• Ordinary Diploma in either

1. Electrical
2. Mechanical or Automotive
3. Air conditioning & refrigeration
• 3 years relevant hands-on experience in maintenance of plant and equipment
•Applicants with experience in the maintenance of GSM Base Transceiver Stations' power and air-conditioning equipment will have an added advantage
• Valid Driving license

5] Human Resource and Administration Officer - LCS [N] 005/07
Summary of Duties
• Provides leadership and coordination of HR acquisition and management.
• In charge of all administrative LCS office including motor vehicle administration, insurances
• Facilities management
• Oversee leases/tenancy agreements with other third parties Qualification
• Graduate from a recognized university
• 3-5 experience in HR and administration experience with increasing responsibilities
• Proficient in using Microsoft office
• Good communicator and interpersonal skills


6] Administrative Assistant [Reports to HR and Admin Officer)
LCS [N] OO6/07
Summary of Duties
• Provide administrative support to all staff and coordinate activities of various departments.
•Ensure efficient oversight of postal, courier services, travel and ticketing,
•Utilities management Qualifications
• First degree or Higher Diploma in business administration
• 2 years in Administration position
• Highly organized and efficient with good interpersonal skills

7 Procurement/Purchasing Officer LCS [N] 007/07
Summary of Duties
• Provide leadership in sourcing and acquisition of any type of equipments and services needed for the country operations
• In charge of all logistics (regional distribution of non service and service parts) and stores management and administration
• Sourcing and vetting suppliers, with a view of creating long term sustalnaole relations with, approved suppliers Qualification
•Graduate in Business Administration
•Certificate in Purchasing/ Procurement and Logistics
•3 years relevant experience

8] Finance Officer [Reports to finance Manager] LCS [N] 008/07
Summary of Duties
•Assist in the establishment of proper accounting systems
•Assist in payroll management
• In charge of accounts payable and accounts receivables Qualification
• Graduate in accounting from a recognized university with relevant professional accounting qualifications
• 3 to 5 years experience in busy finance departments with at least two years handling general ledger
• Working knowledge of accounting programmes/software

9] Systems administrator LCS [N] 009/07
Summary of Duties
• Oversee the information management systems of the company
• Provide technical (ICT related) support to the local users
• Champion any information technology upgrades within the company Qualifications
• Degree or higher diploma in Information technology
• Have working proficiency in Oracle based systems
• Have a 3-5 years experience in an IT related environment.
