Prince Sule Picks APC Ticket To Battle Maku, Others

THE All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has elected Engr. Audu Sule as its gubernatorial candidate for the 2019 general polls.

Sule, Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura's choice emerged winner defeating ten(10) others aspirants in a poll which began on Sunday September 30th and ended some minutes ago in Lafia.

He polled a total of 926 votes while his closest rival Hon. Aliyu Ahmed Wadada (Sarkin Yakin Keffi) got 519 votes, follows by deputy governor Silas Ali Agara with 356.

Immediate past executive secretary of NJC, Alh. Danladi Envulu'Anza Halilu came 4th with 246 votes.

Other aspirants, Comr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya got 8 votes; Alh. Zakari Idde, 88 votes; Dr. Hassan Liman, 4 votes; Arc. Shehu Ahmed Tukur, 9 votes; Mal. Dauda Shuiabu Kigbu, 10 votes; Dr. James Angbazo, 7 and federal lawmaker Hon. Muhammad Jafar Ibrahim polled 105 votes.

Returning officer, Ma. Ahmed Ismail declared the result after the process which was broadcasted live.

Sule to battle Hon. Labaran Maku(APGA), Barr Haruna Ilyasu(ID) Hon. David Ombugadu(PDP) among others for the governorship seat.
