To the consternation of political watchers, a former Secretary to Imo State Government, Chris Okewulonu has lost the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP Senate ticket for Okigwe zone. He lost to Hon Patrick Nwabueze in the party’s delegate election . Nwabueze polled a total of 399 votes to defeat Okewulonu who got 250 votes. 2 votes were declared void. This can only happen when power belongs to the people. If it the opposite political party, the man with the big name would have gotten the ticket a mafian brigandosia. God bless PDP! |
