Sorry for news bro. That's the spirit. Get your GCMS and refire. God would save Nigerians from the hands of these merciless Nairobi VO. I think what these people are doing now is unethical. How can someone submit an application and it is rejected for the same reason 2ce and third time it is approved for example while nothing significant has changed. Is that not wickedness and greediness? How den take better pass Nigerian police nah?

The matter tire me oooo...

Justobserving1:
PPR!!!!
I saw a post about people only posting when they are denied visa and not when they are approved and I felt bad because it is actually true. Anyways I joined nairaland after I submitted my application however, I will state what I did to ease my application

I applied on the 3rd of October 2018, did my biometrics on the 9th of October. Then on the 25th of October I checked my portal and sa my medicals has been updated to passed.

[b]I applied online and I did upfront medicals[/b
Then on the 28th of November my eligibility review started, I got a biometrics validity correspondence later same day. Then on the 1st if Decmeber which is a Saturday I got my PPR. I didn’t even know they respond to people on the weekend

Anyways to the important part my documents
SOA of 11m
I paid my tuition of CAD7,800
I put my father’s companies certificate of incorporation. My father was my sponsor
I put his sponsorship letter
My bank statement was for 6 months there was also a letter on the statement from the banks stating my father is the sole owner of the account and some other information I can’t remember
I also put my fathers certificate of ownership for a land
I then put two different valuation documents for a house in lagos and ph

Then for the other information I put my SOP which was very detailed. I studied economics as my Bsc and I’m going for masters in economics which makes my case very easy to explain. I also worked in a good company practicing economy’s
I put my present companies offer letter, WAEC, some NYSC documents because at that time I was still doing my NYSC. I put my transcript, TOEFL result because in one of the forms online I was asked if I had taken the English proficiency exam and I selected yes so It made a lot of sense to include that in my document. I got 96/120 in my toefl.

I prayed and prayed and prayed. I checked my portal everyday until I got the PPR. Thank God for good news. It shall end in praise for every other applicant.

The letter is important and its different from the biometric correspondence letter.

Make sure you get it before traveling!

It can come in either way so far your visa has been approved.
But if you haven't gotten your own, email CIC for it
You've got to remind them if you've haven't seen yours for a week.

It's very important you get that note cause you will be asked to show immigration officer at the port of entry in Canada.

SUPPORTING LETTER FOR VISA APPLICATION

Dear Visa Section

My name is Eze Chiamaka Jennifer, born on 18th of July 1994 in Anambra State, Nigeria. I am the third Child in my family and I live with every member of my family in Nigeria.

This Visa Application is made in good faith to study in Canada.

I have been accepted into Confederation College in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada to study Human Resource Management. I wish to apply for a study visa.
Studying abroad has been a dream for me but my mother insisted I acquire the basic education from our own country (Nigeria) so as to understand the background and ethnics of the Nigerian culture. During my undergraduate program, I participated in a few conferences that talked about studying overseas, organized by my University (Kwara State University), gaining a certificate in Career Fair and Exhibition. In the course of this conference; I picked interest to study in Canada.

Human resource management is the strategic approach to the effective management of organization of workers so that they help the business gain a competitive advantage.

The interest to study Human resource Management began shortly after I was employed by a Real Estate firm called Nat Okoli and Associates to perform administrative roles. The sole responsibility of managing the company’s workers and helping the business achieve a competitive advantage rested on me. I was able to manage people within the organization, overseeing our employee benefits, employee recruitments, trainings, development and bringing more record of sales than before.

My decision to study human resources steams from my interest and future plans, that is, I would like to pursue a career in human resource management and not exclusive to a particular organization which expands my future career options. This will place me to work in a leading firm that places priority and professionalism and leads such organization towards attainment of set goals by making use of knowledge gained as well as experience. For this reason, I chose to further my education in human resources as this will give me a greater opportunity to apply for a wider range of position on my return to Nigeria.

The course I have chosen is a post graduate programme and an academic progression from my Bachelors programme in Linguistics which has provided me the requisite foundation in engaging and understanding human behaviour as well as fortified me with good communication skills, personal communication as well as organization communication skills, bearing in mind that the importance of proper communication in the business environment cannot be over-emphasized.

I have worked in a medium enterprise since graduating which did not offer any scope for career advancement or the opportunity to experience global business activity. It is my fervent desire to work within a multi-national company in Nigeria that offers the scope to advance to senior management positions. My choice of course has been made with this in mind with the full support of my family.

Canada has a well-known education system with qualifications valued around the globe. Canada is known to have a high reputation of friendliness and political stability which makes studying an excellent opportunity to develop my language skills, explore the country’s social and cultural environment and boost my prospect for an interesting career.

Canada has a highly diverse population, resulting in a rich and vibrant cultural scene and I am excited to experience this new country and its culture.

I choose to study in Canada to expand my knowledge with a post graduate degree in human resource management.

My chosen college which is Confederation College was made after extensive research where I considered various institutions such as Conestoga College, Niagara College and Cambridge college who all offered similar programs but I choose confederation college because of the specialized cooperative program and location, and I received detailed information from the college about the course and content; and this information was received in a swift and exemplary manner. They have also dealt with all my questions swiftly and professionally and I am confident I have made a wise choice.

On my return to Nigeria having completed my course I can compete strongly in the job market. In particular with multinationals that are looking for highly educated individual with an international education with skills such as team work, negotiating and independent activities to progress in a long term career are keyed along with the specialist knowledge I will gain. Starting salaries for such openings commence from $1400 - $1800 a month and are expected to double within one or two years. This makes the investment in my education very worthwhile.

Nigeria with its present market has an increasing demand for Human Resource personnel. Furthering my education in this discipline is of uttermost importance, as it will equip me with a broad knowledge of the market. Doing so will also enable me to have better chances of securing a great job on my return to Nigeria.

I communicate fluently, I am self-motivated, and a creative person. I am dynamic and strive to do my best to become a result oriented person and my approach to thinking is always positive. I am extremely flexible and can turn myself to any corner and phase at any time period. To be quite clear, I am choosing Canada for my post graduate study and on completion, it is my sole intention to return home.

Throughout my stay in Canada, all expenses will be covered by my family. Documents testifying to this ability to financially support me have been uploaded as part of this visa application.

My Acceptance letter from Confederation College states that the program starts by January 7th 2019 and I am expected to resume before this date.

Thank you very much for your consideration and I firmly believe my application meets the entire requirement for a study visa.

Sincerely,

Usually, EE is faster and straightforward if you simply meet the requirements when compared to Study Permit.

Yes you can apply for both concurrently.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by kpizzle: 5:24pm On Dec 08, 2018
@Oguntola18: the embassy replied me that they still want the statement to be in their format. I found out GTBank supports this new format but my SOA is from FCMB. I still don't have a definite solution yet.

I pm you please check.

kpizzle:
I submit my SOA using the regular statement with a reference letter from the bank.

When sending the SOA via mail, I explained in the body of the mail that our banks don't use the suggested format. I got the idea from someone on the forum who got approval recently.

I sent it to them last Friday and I haven't heard from them yet. I hope it works.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Austacus: 6:25pm On Dec 08, 2018
@chiamaka18 the best move for you right now is to order your gcms note and defer your admission to spring term...that's if spring entry is still open.
Your application is tight!
Answer the following questions
Who's your sponsor?
What Do you graduate with? (it could be the VO were expecting you to do MSc) though am not sure of that... cause countless peeps have gotten approval with pgd/pgc

Another thing I found out in your application is a family tie (red alarm beeping)
There's nothing to show for your family base in the application you submitted.
Another thing I noticed is your SOP
I didn't feel the contentment in the sop
To me, your sop was as if you're lifting from the internet in every paragraph and you just add a little flair of you.
I didn't feel you (zeal) in the sop I was just reading and reading

I am not a guru but those are the loopholes I could pick out from your application.

Bless you

Hi,
I am new on this platform in regards to posts but I have been following.
Please I need your clarification on this:- my friend got "validity of your biometric information" letters (from Kenya) about two weeks ago for him, his wife and three children on the 7th week of submission of their application at VFS. They are going to canada as workers and students . They submitted also police reports and medicals upfront. My question is, is it likely that they will be granted visa?
Please I need you candid opinion.
