Emergency Communication Center[112] In Nigeria. Dead Or Alive? by Mikeshine(m): 9:43pm On Oct 07, 2018
Few years ago, centers were constructed in all 36 states which were all well equipped by NCC during the then Jonathan administration. Fast forward to 2013 six centres came online where Osogbo center was one of the lucky ones. After 3years of rigorous work by staffs, NCC shut all centers down in 2016 with the aim of doing general maintenance, repairing and replacing faulty systems, reconstruction of building and all staffs were given a break with the hope that they will be call back after 3 months when all is done. However, after 2 years all centers is still under lock and key, to make it worse there has been no communication from either NCC or any of the staffs employer to know the faith of their staff who were on compulsory leave for almost 2 years without a pay. My question here is that, is there hope for youth in this country if the few job available is taken away by our corrupt leaders? What is NCC doing about all the closed center especially ones that are 100% functioning before the so called corruptible rehabilitation?
