BEING THE PRESS TEXT ISSUED TODAY, 11TH OCTOBER 2018, BY THE COALITION OF STUDENTS AND YOUTHS IN OJO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY ON THE DAYLIGHT ROBBERY ON THE APC WINNER OF OJO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY PRIMARIES

Today is another historical day in the history of Ojo Federal Constituency, a day that will determine if we will remain slaves in the hands of selected few. As history students, we are well informed that the majority's stand will only remain viable if we reject been controlled by the daylight robbers.

Our beloved party, APC has just conducted the best primary election ever witnessed on the continent. It was free, fair, transparent, credible and rancour free. It was a triumph for democracy in Nigeria and Africa at large. Our party, the largest party in Africa, has once again showed the world that we are democratic trailblazers on the continent. We specially want to appreciate APC NATIONAL LEADER Asiwaju bola Ahmed tinubu for allowing the direct primary to take place, "When it comes to political strategy, Asiwaju Tinubu is in a class of one. He is the bell cow of Nigerian politics, a quick study and a tenacious worker with a manic work ethic."

Whatever anyone says of Tinubu, he is the only leader in Nigeria that is creating leaders. He is the only one that has a pipeline of excellence through which the competent and the unknown gain prominence to lead.
With all these that I have said about the APC national leader, i believe he is a democratic leader, he believes in the peoples mandate, he has the interest of the public at heart, most especially the youth.

The Ojo federal constituency primary election has been robbed by some stakeholder, which we believe its a very expensive mistake on their part, Hon. Lanre ogunyemi came third with 1,753 votes in the representative election and he was pushed to the winning position in a published list on the nation's newspapers dated 10th October 2018 above Yinka Durosinmi with 3,798.

For the umpteenth time, we would want to state that the people of Ojo Federal Constituency are learned that we won't subject ourselves to a daylight robbery whereby a man placed third in the last primary, Hon. Lanre Ogunyemi, is placed above a man who clinched the first position, Hon. Yinka Durosinmi. The margin of the election is far wide that the conspicuous act broke the record of the popular "America Wonder". However, we assure you of remaining law abiding citizens while we fight for the mandate to the latter, plus many reasons why such propaganda can't fly, few among the numerous are:

I. The list duly signed list by H.E Lucky Imasuen, the Chairman electoral committee and Barrister Chima Okafor, acting secretary, primary election committee remains valid and widely accepted.

II. That the sponsored advert in circulation was not duly signed by both the state chairman and the secretary.

III. That the entire students and youths association within Ojo Federal Constituency reject in totality the holocaust on the circulated dailies.

While we urge the state executives of the Lagos APC not to loose its members and support due to this gravious mistake, we assure to take our stand and stand by it.
