Breaking: Violence, Riots Disrupts Plateau State LGA Election

Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong has asked citizens of the state not to do anything that may affect the peace of the state.

Lalong said anyone who feels aggrieved over the result of the local government elections as announced by the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission, PLASEIC should tow the Democratic path by approaching the local government elections petition tribunal to ventilate his or grievances.

This message came after series of protests and riots marred the recent LG election in the state.
Youths in Mangu went on protest demanding justice, PLASIEC office in Mikang and the house of the Transition Committee Chairperson of Bassa LGA were razed by fire following the aftermath of the election which the main opposition party PDP rejects.

It was as simple as this... People that voted at the respective local government areas were waiting for PLASIEC officials to come and collect result sheet of which PDP cleared all the local governments except one only for them to hear that results have been announced... How and why? And please Dia was no riots but burning of houses that belongs to the people that masterminded it.... As I am talking to you now, Lalong has sworn in the chairmen....
