This is an extract from 70 WAYS TO GET A JOB by Bright Johnson, published by Techie Entertainment ( https://www.techiebooks.com.ng ):

This is a job hunting strategy that can get you into a top position in an organization. It can move you from nothing to something.

One woman has a degree in Finance and wanted to work in the financial sector of the economy. But she was not successful. So she approached a big Orphanage Home and volunteer to work there free of charge until she gets a job. They were thrilled. But she demanded to set the boundaries of the job: she said she will work two times a week, doing their finance and documents, and she will bear the title of Chief Finance Officer. They agreed.

While she was working, she applied to several places and one organization invited her, and saw she was indeed a CFO in a big Orphanage Home, and they offered her employment to work for them as a CFO with a big salary, car, travel allowances, and other perks. Isn’t this woman wise?

You can do the same. Fashion it after her tactics: work somewhere two or three times a week, bear a big title, and hunt for big jobs.

It will also build your network. Imagine the woman above going to events and parties and introducing herself as the Chief Finance Officer of a big Orphanage Home, won’t you be fooled? You will be impressed. And she was not lying, she was just wise and brilliant and sharp.
