One man with his large glasses (obviously a retired teacher) once gave me 2hrs lecture on how he will run Nigeria's economy to out perform that of China if elected president. I visit newspaper stands for fun sha.

Ojuelegba under bridge has always been like that. You would see people analyzing as if their lives depended on it.

The discussions are typically heated. The topics of discussion are often determined by the news headlines of the day on major newspapers.

Also, it is also a prominent feature to see young boys converting a section of the yet-to-be-completed under the flyover as a football field.

Indeed, it has become a case of making something out of a bad situation.

The remodeling project of under Ojuelegba flyover is part of the effective utilization of spaces under flyovers in Lagos state project.

The project is under the supervision of the Lagos state Ministry of Housing.

The contractor in charge of the remodeling of under Ojuelegba flyover is Indepthartistry Limited.

In those days, I must go there every blessed day to read news headlines on various newspapers. punch, guardian, tribune, vanguard, thisday, sun, and other magazines.
That was the only source of my information. One could not afford to buy a #50 paper (It later increased to #70/80). There was nothing like reading news online. Where would one get a browsing phone sef. At times, if one had #20 or #30, one may rent a paper to read it there, then returned it to the vendor.

It seems Ambode converted the "underbridge" at Jibowu flyover to a park. I saw it briefly on TV recently. He'll probably complete work on Ojuelegba too.
