it was given to him voluntarily by the winner of the primary. that has been his plan b.

They actually held primaries, and there was a winner

The winner simply substituted himself with Tambuwal

First there was a genuine inec supervised PDP guber primaries in Sokoto.

But if an elected candidate in d primaries ( by consensus, direct or indirect primaries) decides to withdraw from the race, the party reserves the right to replace such with either another candidate in d primaries or consensus candidate.

So most times the candidates connives with the party to use some one to hold d ticket for them. So they can fall back n pick up d tickets later.

So they are besically exploiting loopholes in d electoral acts to roll.

Anyway it's a bit more sensible than the crises APC is raising all over the states in d name of primaries

The same way APC built on the mistakes of PDP to win 2015 is the same way PDP is capitalizing on APC mistakes. Right now PDP is a soft sell call mpared to APC which is a hard sell to Nigerians and the world at large.
History repeating itself.
I know PDP will so out perform APC in all aspect of this election and pray that ourdear president will vacate Aso rock like Jonathan did.

Someone actually said the reason y PDP is actually having better n calmer primaries than APC is because they don't have access to the money n resources at the center to fight for. So everyone just have to respect themselves, because their resources is at par.

Even them governors didn't have much money to trow around, with FG withholding Paris refund from some n some n many struggling to pay salaries

There was primaries conducted which was observed bg INEC but also, Parties are allowed to change the candidate before submission of candidates deadline..

This is very wrong decision, tambawal can't deliver sokoto nothing was done. For sure Apc Will retain the state.
