Letter from King Leopold II of Belgium to Colonial Missionaries, 1883
The letter which follows is Courtesy of Dr. Vera Nobles and Dr. Chiedozie Okoro.
“Reverends, Fathers and Dear Compatriots: The task that is given to fulfill is very delicate and requires much tact.  You will go certainly to evangelize, but your  evangelization must inspire above all Belgium interests.  Your principal objective in our mission in the Congo is never to teach the niggers to know God, this they  know already.  They speak and submit to a Mungu, one Nzambi, one Nzakomba, and what else I don’t know.  They know that to kill, to sleep with someone else’s  wife, to lie and to insult is bad.  Have courage to admit it; you are not going to teach them what they know already.  Your essential role is to facilitate the task of  administrators and industrials, which means you will go to interpret the gospel in the way it will be the best to protect your interests in that part of the world.  For these  things, you have to keep watch on disinteresting our savages from the richness that is plenty [in their underground. To avoid that, they get interested in it, and make  you murderous] competition and dream one day to overthrow you.
Your knowledge of the gospel will allow you to find texts ordering, and encouraging your followers to love poverty, like “Happier are the poor because they will  inherit the heaven” and, “It’s very difficult for the rich to enter the kingdom of God.”  You have to detach from them and make them disrespect everything which gives  courage to affront us.  I make reference to their Mystic System and their war fetish-warfare protection-which they pretend not to want to abandon, and you must do  everything in your power to make it disappear.
Your action will be directed essentially to the younger ones, for they won’t revolt when the recommendation of the priest is contradictory to their parent’s teachings.   The children have to learn to obey what the missionary recommends, who is the father of their soul.  You must singularly insist on their total submission and  obedience, avoid developing the spirit in the schools, teach students to read and not to reason.  There, dear patriots, are some of the principles that you must apply.   You will find many other books, which will be given to you at the end of this conference.  Evangelize the niggers so that they stay forever in submission to the white  colonialists, so they never revolt against the restraints they are undergoing.  Recite every day-“Happy are those who are weeping because the kingdom of God is for  them.”
Convert always the blacks by using the whip.  Keep their women in nine months of submission to work freely for us.  Force them to pay you in sign of  recognition-goats, chicken or eggs-every time you visit their villages. And make sure that niggers never become rich.  Sing every day that it’s impossible for the rich to  enter heaven.  Make them pay tax each week at Sunday mass. Use the money supposed for the poor, to build flourishing business centres.  Institute a confessional  system, which allows you to be good detectives denouncing any black that has a different consciousness contrary to that of the decision-maker.  Teach the niggers to  forget their heroes and to adore only ours.  Never present a chair to a black that comes to visit you.  Don’t give him more than one cigarette.  Never invite him for  dinner even if he gives you a chicken every time you arrive at his house.
“The above speech which shows the real intention of the Christian missionary journey in Africa was exposed to the world by Mr. Moukouani Muikwani Bukoko,  born in the Congo in 1915, and who in 1935 while working in the Congo, bought a second hand Bible from a Belgian priest who forgot the speech in the Bible. —  Dr. Chiedozie Okoro

Please take everything you read above with a pinch of salt; there is no way I can confirm its validity.

And even if it is valid, I do not wish to point an accusing finger at Christians, Christianity and etc; neither do I intend to prove that all Christian missionaries were tricksters. There may have been some Christian missionaries who had better intentions than those addressed to above. And not only among Christian missionaries were there fraudsters; there are fraudsters in all walks of life and in all religions. So please Muslims, don’t see this thread as an excuse to point fingers at Christian missionaries; some Jihadists may have been fraudsters too.

And neither does the above prove that there is no God, nor does it prove that the idea of spirituality is based on fraudulency. The above has nothing to do with God or spirituality.

This is intended to be a food for thought, especially for we black people.

Let us replace king Leopold of Belgium with King of Saudi Arabia. Let replace Christianity with Islam. Lets make the letter seem as if it was from the followers of Muhammad (as).

Could anyone doubt it? We see that the two scholars who printed it in the Journal are Christians, doing the bid for others, against their own christian leadership and religion? If this letter has not affected their soul, questioning them in their souls and consciences, do you think a chrisian will expose the work and intentions of the Christians? Hasnt Slavery given us a window to believe that this letter is more than likely not to be fake?

We see how the Christians even hate their own Christian brothers and sisters, when the Rwanda genocide was at its infancy. The Christian Missionaries left the same african perons who prepared their luggages for the journey out of Africa, yet no african was taken along by these evil white missionaries.

Christianity and its missionaries, the spreaders of lies and deceits.

This letter is real; The purpose of colonial missionaries was Mind Control and the Congo became the private property of King Leopold II of Belgium, a greedy and devious monarch whose lust for territory and wealth was largely responsible for igniting the scramble for Africa.

Deep Sight:

Conviction?!!
Dear deepsight 'conviction' is a very deep word. I will not ascribe 'conviction' to any member of any religion. What they posses is 'blind faith,' they have been programmed to accept or believe in things that doesn't make sense. They have been intimidated into accepting everything and not questioning anything, otherwise God will throw them into hell.
Conviction can never arise out of fear and blind faith. Conviction arises out of scrutiny, out of questioning, out of subjecting any issue to most unrelenting weighing and examining. Conviction arises from the spirit.
Belief and blind faith, on the other hand, are a suppression of the natural urge in man to question. Suppression of this urge is tantamount to suppression of the spirit; thus suppression of the living spark of God in man.
Contrary to popular opinion, 'belief,' 'faith' and 'blind faith' are not what God wants from us. God wants us to replace our 'faith' with 'conviction.' And conviction cannever arise out of faulty doctrines.

Why Africans Cannot Accept ‘The Trophy of Victim-hood’

THE UGLY ONES ARE NOT YET BORN – Why Africans Cannot Accept ‘The Trophy of Victim-hood’

“Africans will remain powerless forever if we continue to
allow our emotions to rule our heads, and let pleasing
sentiments to whimsically dictate our “rights & wrongs”.
Without habitual dispassionate and objective political
judgment, Africans will readily forget that the last time
we loved so deeply, we lost our religion, we lost our mind,
we lost our land, and we became ‘universal’ slaves, we
became ‘the’ universal object of ridicule”
(Ez Eziza; fb status comment update)

DISCLAIMER: This note has not been EDITED and PROOF-READ – so you are advised to read creatively, and turn a blind eye on any menacing typo, grammar doing ridiculous gymnastics and the inevitable gung-ho summersaults of misplaced terms. I hope I am forgiven in advance because the write-up was hastily pieced together to answer pressing questions generated by the above quote, an excerpt taken from my forthcoming book, The African Midwives Revolution: An Afrocentric Manifesto for Psycho-social and Cultural-politics Revolution.

If a leopard comes to the front of your hut, or you come in contact with a snake, or a grizzly bear, or a lion, on your way to your farm land, you can go ahead and invite the leopard into your hut to have dinner with your children, or embrace the serpent, or cuddle the bear, or make love to the lion, because it is YOUR ‘nature’ to be loving or cuddly or welcoming. However, if the leopard turned around and ate your children, or the serpent bit off your Adam’s Apple, or the bear dismembered your limbs, or the lion violently shred you to death, it is irrelevant who we decides to award the trophy of ‘victim-hood’ to during our rationalization sessions or one of our blame-game marathon tournaments. The truth is, as long as you acted based on YOUR NATURE, the leopard, snake, grizzly bear and lion also acted based on THEIR NATURE. If you cannot be condemned for acting on your natural impulses, or more accurately, your unbridled whims and impulsiveness, neither can these beasts be condemned too for acting on their impulses and respective natures.

The preceding analogy is for those Africans that say Europeans and Arabs should be blamed because they conquered us by [unfairly?]abusing our natural tendency to be loving, cuddly, accommodating, and hospitable towards everyone in the entire universe. My rebuttal to this assertion is that many Africans have also stated that it is the natural tendency of Europeans to rape, pillage, murder, plunder and destroy other cultures and peoples with whom they come in contact. Therefore, when we get ready to play the blame-game, we should be willing to blame ourselves for being true to OUR 'nature', and thereby naively letting ourselves to be taken for a ride, if we are going to legitimately blame the Whiteman for being true to HIS own 'nature' that spurred him to take advantage of our ‘goodness’, which HE perceived as primitiveness and weakness.

In the grand scheme of things, these blame-games and pageantry of ‘victims’ parades’ are futile, pointless, and disenabling childish exercises. Life is a political stage and the performers, like performing prize-fighters, must be ready to take punches and dish out punches. Even more vital is the fact that taking knockdown punches in a prize-fight does not make you a victim. Just as it is wrong to call a boxer that is knocked down a victim, it is also wrong to award the ‘victims’ trophy’ to Africans because we are temporarily knocked down. Trading blows, dishing out upper-cuts and hooks, as well as receiving blistering punches in bunches, including knock-out soccer punch, are all intricate parts of this political theatre we call Life. Africans once invaded and annexed many parts of Southern Europe. If we follow the 'Africa-is-victim-because-we-were-conquered-by-Whites-and-Arabs logic, are we ready to accept that Europeans are Africa's victims too - because Africans once conquered Spain and parts of Italy?

The truth is, empires rise and fall. Civilizations flourish and decline. If plotted with historical data and mathematical precision, the path of human progress, if presented in a visual graph, is definitely not a vertical upward straight line. The story of human history shows that the journey of our material advancement and spiritual evolution is zigzag, random, and erratically cyclical. As surely as days follow nights, Africa shall rise again. As definite as nights follow days, the prevailing White Supremacy will not only meet its demise, but the seemingly invisible and indomitable European Civilization of today will, at some point, start to decline and, eventually, fade away, completely, into oblivion. This is the objective lesson of world history. This is the Absolute Truth we behold when we put on a telescopic pair of spectacle with historical lenses.

Furthermore, whether or not we decide to ignore this hard objective historical fact and manufacture pleasing and beautiful subjective judgments that suit our sensibilities, and hold ourselves out as ‘poor victims’, such exercise will be pointless because nothing can change an iota of this timeless historical and universal Truth: the rise and fall of Great Empires is caught up in an inevitable matrix spun by the cosmos itself to sustain Life and the evolution of increasingly complex life forms. In this inevitable cosmological matrix the only constant is the eternal presence of decay and blossom, the strange matrimony of entropy and negentropy, and the continuous awkward dance of emerging and re-emerging births and deaths.

To recap, we Africans are still competing prizefighters in the political arena of life. Although, at present we are seriously wounded, almost completely vanquished, warriors; yet we are inescapably caught up in the unrelenting, ever in session, game of life. But as proud warriors, we cannot go down on our knees, in complete submission, and beg our much respected, very worthy, hard-fighting and gallant opponents for mercy. Even as we lay on the ropes, like the completely beat and deadly tired Muhammad Ali doing 'Rope-a-dope' in the steaming heat of the Congo, panting hard, gasping for breath, trying to hold on, barely managing to stand on his own feet, at the most punishing moment of a prizefight, at the severest moment of his greatest trial, during the Rumble in the Jungle, we must have courage to hold on and never give up.

On no condition, on no ground, under no circumstance, must we allow ourselves to become men that curse their fate, women that are ashamed of the day they were born, a people that stoops so low to accept a honorary badge with gold-plated inscription that reads: ‘poor victims; oh God why me!’. As descendents from Aristocratic lineage; as peoples with genealogical ancestry that includes the Great Egyptian Pharaohs, Chaka Zulu the Great, Queen Nzingha, the stern warriors of Ancient Benin Kingdom, the upright men of Mali, and the God-men of Ancient Kemet Civilization, we must reject all descriptive titles of the vanquished other than "brave fighters, men with lion-hearts, warriors endowed with resilience so great as to bounce back from the lowest of lows, which all dismal temporal defeats inevitably brings”.

With regards to my remarks concerning "dispassionate political judgment", I am asking Africans to stop basing their decisions on “how pleasing things make them feel”, or what is written down is some holy book or legal document. If we are going to become the rulers of this universe; if we are going to re-make this world in our own image and likeness; then Africans must learn to make all moral, ethical, and aesthetics judgments in relations to the collective African-will-to-power. Every day, we hear the United States, Russia, Great Britain, China, and France endlessly talk about "their national interests", without missing a single word. Africans, if we are going to make Africa world-superpower, we must boldly and unapologetically ascribe to a philosophy which holds that, for Africans, ethics, morality, and aesthetics, are judged by this single yardstick: does this ‘thing in question’ foster the collective African-will-to-power? If the answer is yes, then that ‘thing’ – whatever it maybe – is ‘good’, ‘correct’, ‘moral’, ‘beautiful’, 'righteous' - and if you like, 'the incorrigible Word of God'. On the other hand, that ‘thing’ – whatever it maybe – is ‘bad’, ‘wrong’, 'evil', ‘immoral’, ‘ugly’, and definitely ‘the work of Satan - the devil’, if it is neutral or detrimental to the enhancement of the collective African-will-to-power.
