Coming a week after the United States of America opened up their preferred presidential candidate for the coming elections in Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has been predicted to lose to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, according to a news outfit, The Economist magazine, which is based in London.

This arrived in a gauge from the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the examination unit of the Magazine. The Economist had, around two months back, supposedly anticipated that Buhari of the decision All Progressives Congress (APC) would lose the race.

Furthermore, in its most recent give an account of the west African country, the outfit rehashed that Buhari would not be in power past 2019.

“The Economist Intelligence Unit expects that the President, Muhammadu Buhari, will lose power at the February 2019 elections and that the next government will be led by Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, although his administration will be fragile.

Mr. Buhari is the APC’s presidential candidate and his main challenger is Mr. Abubakar, who was recently nominated PDP’s candidate with overwhelming backing from the party. Abubakar’s pledge is to reinvigorate the economy with pro-market reforms. Both candidates are from northern Nigeria, where Buhari’s support base lies, presaging a fierce contest there.”

It added that, “With the vote likely to be split in the North, Abubakar will find it easier to garner support from the country’s south, which has traditionally been a safe haven for the PDP.

This gives Abubakar an edge, as does popular frustration over the rise in joblessness and poverty (two of the biggest voter concerns) on Mr. Buhari’s watch, as well as growing insecurity in central Nigeria. Nonetheless, strong incumbency advantages in Nigeria imply that it will be a tight race.

If Abubakar loses a distinct downside risk to our forecast there may be a rejection of the result by the PDP, which is convinced that election will be rigged. In this scenario, a state of national paralysis could arise with severe national security implication.”

Prior to this time, Teneo Intelligence, a New York-based examination firm, has said President Muhammadu Buhari could lose the 2019 race. The firm constructed its forecast in light of the result of the uncertain Osun state governorship race. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will on Thursday conduct beneficial election in four neighborhood administrations of Osun State.

INEC had on Sunday reported consequences of the governorship race, with applicant of PDP, Ademola Adeleke, driving with 254,698 votes while APC hopeful, Gboyega Oyetola, surveyed 254,345.

In a report acquired by Bloomberg, the insight firm said if the restriction figures out how to join together, February race would be an extreme one for the decision APC.

An analyst at Teneo, Malte Liewerscheidt, had said. “There is already a clear message sent from Osun State: provided the PDP remains united, and the vote is reasonably free and fair, Buhari and his APC are likely to lose the general election.”

HSBC Bank, a worldwide money related association, had prior anticipated that Buhari may lose one year from now and that Nigeria’s economy will take a downturn on the off chance that he wins in 2019.

In its report titled: “Nigeria: Papering Over The Cracks”,HSBC said, “A second term for Mr Buhari however raises the risk of limited economic progress and further fiscal deterioration, prolonging the stagnation of his first term, particularly if there is no move towards completing reform of the exchange rate system or fiscal adjustments that diversify government revenues away from oil.

In the near term, however, the election impact is likely to be negative as increased political uncertainty precludes policy reforms, weighs on confidence, deters investment spending and restrains the growth outlook.”

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidency has murdered democracy; adopted rule of the thumb, aborted her own electoral promises, dramatizes unremitting failure, as much as introduced primitive nepotism and archaic bigotry.

Shockingly, how President Buhari and his minders railroaded themselves into that unforgivable tragic outing remains a study for political scientists — after the near revolutionary momentum that ushered to power in 2015.

President Buhari and the APC are the regrettable examples of how not to lead or mislead multiethnic nation as Nigeria.

Since when did the foreign media have a hand in predicting the actual outcome of Nigerian elections.

You still don't get it? All they do is talk, analyze and speculate. They don't affect the actual events... The joke is on you bro. cheesy cheesy

I am not a PMB empathizer, but Atiku is a correct deal only in the minds of kids and disgruntled, sentimental psychopaths who don't care what happens to the nation because they want to boot out an "incapable" president.
