Is Mary Omnipresent?

Christians all over the world can pray to God at the same time and He can hear them all because God is omnipresent. Mary and all the saints are not omnipresent and cannot hear the prayers of all those praying ‘Hail Mary, Pray for us’, ‘Saint Michael, Pray for us’, etc at the same time. Even the devil assigns subordinates to operate in different regions because he can’t be everyone at the same time.
If this is a known truth, while are Catholics still praying to Mary, Angels and Saints?

Looking at it from a deep spiritual point of view, the Mary Catholics say they are honoring is not actually the Mary mother of Jesus. This is a diversion to the worship of Queen of Heaven, a goddess described in Jeremiah 7:18, 44:17-25. Catholics also called Mary Queen of Heaven, using the same title.

None of the early apostles performed a special devotion to Mary as practiced in the catholic church today. If the early apostles never paid any special devotion to Mary before going to heaven, then we don't need it.
We must know that the Bible says ‘Thou art inexcusable o man’ (Rom. 2:1). Therefore, ignorance is not an excuse, especially when you have the Bible at your disposal. Study to show thyself approved (2 Timothy 2:15).
Let no one deceive you that you must practice a special devotion to Mary before you can make heaven.

Mary played a vital role in our salvation by bringing the child Jesus to earth, just like John came to prepared the way for Jesus. They have completed their work and are currently enjoying the reward of their labour. Right now, Jesus is all you need and will ever need to make heaven at last. John 14:6.
If you are in doubt, ask your reverend father if Mary is Omnipresent like God.

I pray God open the eyes of our catholic brethren to this truth.
We shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free.
I pray we all make heaven at last in Jesus name.

This is a carnal question. Let me explain.

The saints are in heaven! Heaven is not a physical place it is a spiritual reality, when we pray we partake in heavenly things we are so to speak in heaven before God, the saints and angels. The saints don't need to be everywhere to hear you and participate in your life, each time you pray you are right on mount Zion in their very presence

Heb 12
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Do you understand it now? You have arrived before God, his angels and his saints, they don't even need omnipresence to hear you, you are right around the heavenly bandwidth, the new Jerusalem that is above

Heb
12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

They don't even need permission or omnipresence to be part of our lives, the saints all surround us, we are all on the same heavenly bandwidth, space and time are just words they don't exist in the heavenly Jerusalem.

Next time meditate on what it means that eyes have not seen nor ears heard or the heart of men conceived.

Even Jesus can not answer your prayers except God; The Almighty, The omipotent, The Omnipresent, The Cteator of all, The One that ask us to call and He would respond.
Jesus, is not God and he never ask people to worship him rather he said you should worship The One true God! Jesus even prayed to God, why shouldn't you?

Jesus was born through immaculate conception, yes i agree,
Jesus spoke in his cradle, yes i agree.
Jesus healed the leper, by the permission of God.
Jesus blew the "Ruh" in an Object and it came alive, yes i agree.
Jesus ate, yes i agree
Jesus, slept, yes i agree
Jesus was beated, kicked, whipped, spat on and crucified..... mbanu, I I DO NOT AGREE!

Just like Elijah before him, Jesus ascended to the heaven!

But I still don't understand why pray to saints or Mary when Jesus said He's the only way.
The early apostles Never prayed to Mary, so where did the church learn it from.

Nb: The angel Gabriel only saluted Mary and was not praying to her.

we don't pray TO the saints, we ask them to pray for us and/or join us in prayers, the same as asking a pastor or a fellow Christian to pray for you, the difference is that in this case the person praying for you is truly righteous.

Jesus is the only way and all prayers are directed through Jesus, fellow Christians are intercessors, they join us in prayers and help us in prayers.

Lastly we don't know what the apostles didn't do, it is impossible to prove a negative, the Bible doesn't record every thing the apostles did, but we certainly have records of what those the apostles taught did, we have records from the early church of what the apostles practiced and the communion of saints is part of it.

Mariolatory which is the worship of Mary and her images and the elevation of Mary to equality with Jesus her son has its origins in ancient Roman idolatry worship of goddesses such as Astarte,Ashtoreth,Juno, and Isis in which the gods were believed to have mother's.
When the Roman Emperor Constantine became a Christian and made Christianity the official Roman religion many of the Roman idolatry practices were adopted and absorbed into Christianity at the first council of Nicaea in AD 325.
At the council of Ephesus in AD 431 convened by the Roman Emperor Theodosius 'll the Bishops decreed that Mary could be called the "Christotokos" birth giver of Christ.
All these doctrines were later insertions of the Romans into Christianity.

The issue of blessed virgin mary shouldn't be problematic to any Christian, Muslims says, Jesus cannot be son of God, talk less being God..........now other Christian aside Catholic, believe that Mary cannot be Mother oF God. 2000 years back, alot of things had happened. Mary as co-madiatrix, no doubt she has been heping the mankind from ages. mary is a power woman and she has help the the church.

Christians pray in the name of Jesus. Jesus is still alive that is why there is power in his name.

As Christians, we pray to God our Father because He is the provider of all good things (James 1:17; Matthew 7:7-11), and we pray in Jesus’ name because He is the one who makes it possible to approach God because His blood has covered our sins. Jesus was tortured and killed. It was bound to happen

I hope you will not run away when I show you links showing papal support over the ages for Mariology .
These are worship of statues, art, music, rosary as well as places of worship dedicated to the mother of the Christos. You may call it veneration while I call it worship,it is just a matter of semantics. Catholics even have days dedicated to worshipping Mary or the second Eve as you have elevated her.
I know you will not follow this link because you are stuck on your beliefs but her is Mariology and the Pope's over the decades. Happy reading.

Is mariolatry and mariology the same thing? Are you you so quick to condemn that you misrepresent others?

Mariolatry is worship of Mary and that is totally condemned in Catholicism.

Mariology on the other hand is a branch of Christian theology that studies the place of Mary in salvation story.

Abeg stop confusing two different issues just to gain points in an e-discussion, if you don't know about it then make research and learn before you come gun blazing trying to condemn others on issues you don't understand.

Don't get hot under the collar. You quoted me first. I am pointing out how Mariology spills into Mariolatry. You should understand that over the decades the Catholic church has evolved according to the whims and caprices of individual Pope's.
I ask you what do you understand by the term immaculate conception?
Is it not elevation of Mary to a sinless level and as such a vessel for salvation. These practices have their origin in Roman pagan worship of the mothers of their gods.

mariology does not spill into mariolatry, if you bothered to read up the link you provided you would have noticed that some of the popes listed there also condemned manifestations of Marian thought they deemed unwholesome.

Catholic theology does not develop under the whim of the pope, the Pope most times is simply a spokesperson for the church, each of the words he expands upon are those already accepted by the church, he isn't creating doctrine, he is stating what the church already believes, as peter was like a spokesman for the apostles.

The pope didn't elevate Mary to sinless status Mary was always sinless, if you managed to read up Augustine and Ephrem who lived over 1500 years ago you would know that from the early church Mary was already considered sinless, the same line of thought is developed in the church for centuries, the popes job is just to speak what the church already believes.

A Orthodox Christian will also agree that Mary is sinless and yet their doctrine isn't influenced by any Pope in Rome, they got theirs from the early church
Again not pagan, just Christian

@Ubenedictus,

Cogratulations, you are coming towards my point that mariolatory and mariology are so closely intertwined that both practices spill into each other.
Where does one stop and where does the other begin? The two practices are like two sides of one coin.
So you believe Mary is born sinless? These are what you get with the immaculate conception dogma of the Catholic church and leads to the dogma of the second Eve.
What is your opinion of Mary as a perpetual virgin?
What about the assumption of Mary? Or the dogma of Mary as a holy child because of the dogma of perpetual virginity.
These practices have their origins in Roman pagan worship.

What about the rosary? Was it an original part of Christianity at the council of Nicaea or a later insertion by the whims of a pope more than 500 years later?

But why the so much deep devotion and consecration to Mary even when we never see any early apostle doing that. To be honest, as a former Marian devotee of the confraternity of Mary Queen of all Heart, I can tell you that Catholic Marian devotees practically worship Mary even when they claim otherwise. There's a great conspiracy theories about Mary in the Catholic Church, and it will be rather better to live as Christ just as the early apostles did and forget about Mary than to be hindered on the last day.

mariology does not spill into mariolatry, they are totally distinct like night and day a mariologist studies the grace God has granted to Mary and can never be a mariolatier became he knows from the beginning that Mary is a mere creature, simply graced by God.

Mariology stops at considering what God did for Mary, mariolatry and the other hand trys to make Mary the God. Mariology and mariolatry cannot coexist, they are different.

Of course I believe Mary is without sin like the early church teaches, I believe she is the new Eve as the early Christians like Justin martyr, iraeneus of Lyons etc dissect the relevant scripture. She was assumed into heaven, and is a perpetual virgin... These are the graces God granted she who will bear him. As I already showed these teachings predate Constantine and the early church who held them were the same people martyred for their faith.

The rosary is even very mild in its Marian thought, the rosary is simply a meditation on the life of Jesus moving though the gospels while asking Mary to join you in prayer, the pre-nicean Church had a more serious Marian prayer they said. Have you ever heard this one from before nicea?

We fly to your patronage, o holy mother of God dispose not our prayer in our necessity but deliver us from all dangers O ever glorious virgin.

If they prayed this because nicea, the rosary is pretty mild, simply meditate on the life of Jesus, repeat the words of the scripture and ask for prayers.

You know you are being economical with the truth about mariolatory. The same thing you did on the paedophilia Catholic priests thread.
I will get back to you when I get back from work.
So Mary that had other children after Jesus as stated in your Bible is a perpetual virgin ?
Mary that stated in Luke that she is a sinner is without sin according to you??
Mary also ascended into heaven like Jesus
These are just heresies and blasphemy based on Roman idolatry practises.
I will mention you when I get back....

I remember my own consecration, it seems you must have missed the accompanying retreat because I distinctly remember that the consecration is TO Jesus through the patronage of Mary. I distinctly remember it based on the teaching of st Louis maria deMonfort who is emphatic in insisting that Mary is a mere creature, less than a speck before the awesomeness of the divine majesty made beautiful only by grace.

Coming from that foundation it is impossible to even worship Mary who is less than a speck.

We live as the apostles did, we are the heirs of their teaching the continually of the early church. Our understanding of Mary which is shared by all ancient churches both the Orthodox church and the Oriental church is the deposit of faith left by the apostles.
