there is a new talk flying around and it is about igbos boycotting yoruba owned businesses and establishments. This is a good development for their igbo owned rivals but this will badly affect we igbos In generality because if we do boycott them and they boycott us, we will feel the impact more because we benefit from them. There are so many igbo traders living in yorubaland and making money from yorubas than yorubas earning a living in igboland. To be candid, we can only make the yorubas feel the impact if we boycott their churches and schools but it will still be minimal compared to what will happen to igbo importers and traders that constitute a huge percent of igbo wealth, the fact is that the business model we igbos celebrate and pride on survives on the yorubas. We igbos are thriving because we interact with other tribes in Nigeria and if we decide to lock ourselves away, we would only suffer more because we make our money from them. Most igbo men outside alaigbo territory are into business, about 70% and these set of people are the ones making us feel proud, that is why we call yorubas brown roofers. While most yorubas living outside yorubaland are employed by companies that have branches in other regions. We totally need to be careful of this policy so that we won't shoot ourselves in the foot by impoverishing our rich men, remember that without them we won't be able to get biafra because we need monetary support to propagate the agenda. let us be careful because we will be the worst hit if yorubas decide to boycott our businesses, it is also easy to know that the north will join them because of their hatred. This is what I saw on whatsapp written by an igbo man and I wrote it here just to remind ipobians and yeebos that their seemingly good moment will be their fall, like yorubas say, ogbon agbonju o ma n pa ologbon lara(too much wisdom will cause trouble for a wise man) and ise kin pani, ayo lon pani(poverty doesn't kill, it is joy that kills)

Fashola made an unguided statement. We will NEVER forget that. We are only happy that PDP's primary just confirmed what we know of yorubas.
