Guidelines for pickuP

1. Negotiate politely with the seller.
2. Ask questions about the device e.g the unlock and icloud status, if it has scratches, dents or a cracked screen, if anything has to be replaced.
3. Request for the Imei and do a free or paid check to confirm details of the device.
4. The Imei should be sent to me in case of a phone and must match that of the phone i am picking up.
5. After negotiating the price with the seller, details should be sent to me.
6. After the seller and i agree on a meetup location, full payment should be made into any of the provided accounts below.
7. In case of a failed pickup caused by sellers not showing up, a different or a cloned device being advertised,the pickup fee is non refundable but the price negotiated is.
8. There is no buyers protection, so no refunds will be available after a device is purchased.

As with any deals online, you need to be wary of scams. That was an oversight when typing. If that little mistake will make you trust me less, I totally understand. But the thread will prove its trustworthy and efficiency overtime.

Oops i wrote the contents posted on the thread and that was a mistake on my part. I created it for him because am used to nairaland than him. Please check my account it's been created since 2014 and I have done a lot of deals here. Like the Op said you can do a video call to confirm his location.
Anyways when the pickup starts you wouldn't need to be convinced.

Just like I said earlier, your concerns are justified. I offered to have my identity verified by anyone who wants to do business in any way that will alleviate these concerns. To be honest, I'm not worried and I'm not begging for your business, if the risks are too much for you even after you go through any checks with me then you can stick to other established threads on the forum.

I understand why other pickers don't want to offer this shipping services, I had many reservations about this too. Little is known about OfferUp Buyer's protection, how it works, the coverage and how issues are resolved. I will be making a video for each shipping delivery, the unboxing and inspection of each item to see if it is true to the seller's description in case I need to file a claim.

To answer your question, you speak to the seller, agree on the price and who is responsible for the shipping fee (seller or buyer), then send me a message showing the seller's profile, the agreed price. I will then message him, pay for the item and have it shipped to my address. I will be charging $20 (subject to change) for the shipping option on each item received.

I won't be giving out my address to anyone on here for privacy reasons.
