In a bitter reaction to the Governors Forum resolution on the amount they consider convenient for them to pay as minimum wage, Hon. Olabode John Wesley running for Federal House of Representatives, Ekiti Central, Constituency 1 in Ekiti State expressed his unhappiness towards Governors disposition concerning increment in the minimum wage. He had this to say:

It beats my imagination how a group of Governors were able to conveniently open their mouth to declare N22,500 as what they can afford to pay against the resolution of N30,000 as demanded by the Nigerian Labour Congress. It is considered evil and and a submission from the pit of hell!

Nigeria is a nation blessed beyond any form of limitation and for no reason should her labourers suffer in the midst of plenty.
It will not be out of place to once again demand that all Governors should turn-in their security votes in solidarity to meet up with Labour demands since it is more difficult for them to harness their God given resources to generate revenue that will sustain the state and conveniently pay workers salaries.

I like to categorically state that should Labour give up on this struggle as against their demand from the Federal Government, there may never be another time to successfully win this course.
