aremuforlife:Exactly why there has been increase in crime rate in Benin city lately. Infact one of the victims said "the fine boys " that broke into his house ,raided his house and stole his car said they were returnees from Libya and that for them to eat sand ,the state will burn . I wonder what the ones that have even crossed and were deported will do. petty crimes will go up drastically. 1 Like |

frenzyduchess: Nonsense. A serious police would deal with them. The state will burn, yet they don't go to GRA to go and rob because they know they are rich people. If a serious police pick them up and lock them in Oko, throwing away the keys, the rest will comport themselves and push wheelbarrow at New Benin or something. People should stop using lack of jobs as an excuse to go into crime because it is a false excuse. As long as there is one person who didn't commit crime despite being unemployed, then that's proof that being unemployed does not automatically mean you have to be a criminal. It is greed that makes Edo Youths go to Libya. Could they try all that nonsense during Abacha's regime? The military would kill them all. |
They voted Buhari and ran to Italy..... Remigrate them back... They need to feel the heat with us...[/quote Over 10 million Italians migrated to Brazil alone in 1930's. And they are still there till today. Look at them forming nationalist now. |

The deportee's are people that has passed through the Sahara desert and Mediterranean sea. They are people who have had an encounter with death and they were spare for a reason best known by God. They are people who are ready to do anything to survive, the government needs to provide a level playing ground for integration else, Nigeria should be ready to boil for some time. These are the people that has passed through the maltreatment of Tubawi's and Libya militians. They passed through harsh weather both through the desert and Mediterranean sea, they are ready to display their madness in any form, just to survive. If after passing through those rigid journey they can still not put theirselves together and face the future in Europe but they are misbehaving to the extent they are been deport back to square one, what do you think they we do back own where they have lost everything. 1 Like |

femmoy: I think you're missing the point. Migrating because of natural disasters or political unrest is understandable. I'll speak for Nigeria. I am sure we have no excuse as to how and why we should not hold our government responsible. If the migration is encouraged, trust me both people with Good and Evil intentions will go and mess up their own societies for them. If we did to the Ghanaians, then we have no right to stand on the pulpit of humanity and rant. |

aremuforlife: If they misbehave, there is still romm in Oko prison. No one forced them to go to Agadez. It was their greed that made them pay money to "deliver europe". A lot of them come back to Benin and want to use threats to get jobs. A serious government would lock them up and throw away the key. Several of them were killed two weeks ago as they tried to use their stressful experience to ignite gang wars. |

Uglymugg:

Every body is looking for means of surviving and for your information, migrating is not a crime either regular or irregular. Trump was once from an irregular immigrants but now he is the number one person USA. Most of the great men you hear there name's today been great, are once irregular immigrants. Just forget about the racists card they playing in politics today. Illegal immigrants has been existing since the beginning of the word and it will continue to the world stop to exist. There is no INVASION any it's all LIE. What are experiencing, today is movement of the world people are moving changing destination, changing culture, changing language. |
8
You need to credit them for what they pass through and stop condemning them as if most of them have a choice. Do you know how many graduate we have in Nigeria without work? Do you know how many apprentices, that are out there without any assistance or means to survive? Do you know are many people that are render useless because lack of electricity? Do you know how many people that have decided to venture into okada riding for lively means and are now in orthopaedic, fighting for there life. My bro/sis please always know that the hussle is real out there, forget about your comfort zone People are facing help out there without having to turn to. |

aremuforlife: I have faced those and worse. I did not go to Libya. I stayed in Benin for over a decade. I know what I am talking about. It is greed that makes people say they want to go to Libya. It is greed that makes most people commit crime. It is easy to blame unemployment for committing crime but when they get a little money from the crime, what do you see them do? They pop champagne and hire prostitutes. |
