Aside from political propaganda..the power sector is on area God needs to come down to earth and help us look into( pls no laugh).
There's so much corruption going on in the power sector that since after independence we still can't get it right...black outs here and there,meters are rusting and wasting away in Phcn offices instead of being distributed to consumers...police stations, hospitals , govt agencies still using generators to power offices. We see this same skewed system in place in the downstream sector of the oil industry where the landing cost of fuel in Lagos jetties is calculated on how much it will take to transport same fuel to the most northernmost parts of Borno state.

The north is being subsidised on so many levels by the south that they can never agree to a restructuring of the current centralized system.

Idiots like Fashola exploits the south financially and patronise the north with subsidies for political gain.
