The Redeem christian church of God has awarded N300 million scholarship to 694 students of the Redeemers’ University in Ede, Osun state.



The list of successful candidates for the RCCG – RUN scholarship has been published already on the University website (www.run.edu.ng)

The scholarship was awarded to students that are children of RCCG members, RCCG ministers and workers, RCCG part-time pastor, RCCG full time pastor, spread across all 100 to 400 level of the institution.

Now this is a beautiful thing. A fantastic response to the criticism so far. The church showing the way in charity just like it should be. Maybe wuthout all the criticism they wouldn't have noticed where they were going wrong.
More of these from even others and the society will change for the better as people see the practical application of what they preach. Good one RCCG and may others emulate.

To what scale? If the members contribute 1 billion per month and the church gives 10 people scholarship of 100k each? What is that? Has it always been significant to this level?
There is nothing wrong for a church or individual to make amends where it has hirtheto been failing and i see that in RCCG and some few others with this and other gestures and thats great. It shows a true christian nature.

Yeah hence my commendation of them. Imagine If other churches emulate RCCG upto or even beyond this scale; the huge rippple effect it will have on the society. Thats the good thing about true christians, quest to make positive response when criticized unlike some others who look to kill any who criticize them. Thumbs up to RCCG and leadership on this.
