It only has an Index No. Which is the center number/Candidate number.
On the certificate is written clearly that this index number is 8390/152, while for Buhari we know it is 8280/002 for the center No (8280) and the candidate No (002).

So WAEC is right to have issued an attestation with a registration number but Original Certificate Number is N/A for 1961.

The link is updated frequently by Cambridge Assessment.

So the body of the statement as at today, is different from the body of the statement from January 2015 when those enquiries to Cambridge were replied to. The screenshots I posted are the ones from 2015, while anyone can open the link to see the updated content as at the day the weblink is opened.

The election referenced on the website is actually the 2015 elections when the search for the truth regarding Hausa language in 1961 WASC and Buhari's certificate was an issue that has resurfaced again now for the 2019 election.

That doesn't make it the issuing/verification body for such results/certificates/attestation as the case maybe.

WAEC didn't award Buhari a wasc certificate, even a sample wasc certificate will show boldly "Awarded by University of Cambridge, London Exams Syndicate".

Plus in the run up to the 2015 elections, WAEC boldly declared that they had no record of Buhari's result/certificate in their archives.

And Cambridge Assessment has clearly/openly offered to publicly verify/produce President Buhari's result/certificate on the grounds that he authorizes it.

If truly there is no dark cloud behind the veil, held up by Cambridge assessment, why not display his well publicized integrity and authorize it's public verification??

Did you see the Cambridge result master sheet and did not see WAEC also written on it?

Did you see the sample copy of a 1961 WASC certificate and did not see WAEC written on it too?

If you hold on to your opinion that I am telling you with the attached facts and evidences that it is wrong, then why have people been parroting that WAEC Ghana has no records of Buhari when they should be looking for the records at Cambridge like you are opining?

So WAEC does have records for the 1961 exam because they were involved in it, having been created in 1952. But just as WAEC Ghana National Office does not have records for Nigerian candidates, so does WAEC Nigeria National Office does not have records for Ghana or Liberia or Gambia candidates.

A National Office is not International.
