Is Buhari Endorsing Corruption by Honoring Gandollar’s Ganduje's invitation?

The Presidency stated recently that President Buhari has no business with Gandollar’s Ganduje's bribery scandal, but President Buhari has been reported to be going to Kano to commission a bridge by Governor Gandollar Ganduje after video allegations that the governor collected $5 million dollar bribe from contractors.

Does Buhari's latest move send a clear message that he endorses corruption from his own party members?

It's very obvious that the lifeless dullard and his gang of scamming dunces have no good intentions for this nation. A man that has rubbished the integrity of the term 'integrity' is no longer fit to be called a leader, but a dictatoral tyrant.

OP u tire Sha.
Has Buhari ever told u he's incorrupt?
It is only his corrupt followers talking about integrity blah blah blah.
See OP, Buhari has no difference from Ganduje, it is only the thief caught that is stoned.

Wait o,
Have u ever seen or heard Buhari saying he is incorrupt? His conscience won't allow him that's why he has given the job to Mr Lai, the great liar.

Projects especially landmark projects such as this must still be commissioned.

A president that dine and smile with a known corrupt member of his cabinet cannot be an anticorruption crusader

Ganduje is the Tsetse fly on Buhari's shrunken scrotum.
He can't hit it even though it's stinging him.

Have you imagined the number of votes Buhari is counting on from Kano state so that he won't make that trip back to Daura.

This is not just a case of another Nigerian caught in a bribery scandal, this is Buhari’s own party member, a sitting governor in a party where Buhari is the national leader.

grin grin grin

Is he really the Tse-Tse fly or he’s the skeleton in Buhari’s cupboard? Buhari should declare his interest in the bribery scandal

You mean Gandollar should be found guilty before the national leader of his party reprimands him publicly? Is Gandollar the skeleton in Buhari’s cupboard?

Who else noticed that PMB and APC is no longer showcasing the fight against corruption as one of their major achievements?
The stench oozing out from APC altar of corruption is becoming unbearable even to APC members.
The one sided fight against corruption is so glaring that Efcc is even ashame to move against opposition members. What a shame!

Personally, I don't like Buhari but I have to be fair to him. I don't think that it is an endorsement of corruption for Buhari to go and commission a bridge. Buhari has no power to do anything over the Ganduje matter because of immunity

Where it could have been seen as an endorsement of corruption is if Ganduje had no immunity and Buhari has the power to order his arrest, investigation and prosecution but declined to do so.

You mean Buhari has no power to make a public statement condemning the corrupt practice by the governor and distancing himself from the governor?

You mean Buhari as APC’s national leader cannot encourage his party to suspend the governor from the party and petition the state assembly of Kano state of their position on the matter in the interest of the anti corruption stance of the government?

If Gov Gandollar was opposing Buhari’s re-election, do you think the party wouldn’t have since expelled him and asked the state assembly to impeach him over the bribery scandal?

Did you really give Buhari a pass on this?

I'm not giving Buhari a passmark on this, what I'm saying is that there is nothing he can do. Ganduje is covered by immunity, he cannot be arrested or prosecuted even if APC suspends him. It is for Kano State legislature to investigate and remove Ganduje so he has no immunity from arrest and prosecution. It is not Buhari's job to interfere with what is the internal matter of Kano State especially when the person involved has immunity

The only criticism I have for Buhari is that he went after some Governors, even while they were still in office, example Fayose

And left Ganduje

Aren’t we really energizing and encouraging politicians to continue deceiving Nigerians? For you to say there’s nothing Buhari can do.

We didn’t ask Buhari to impeach Ganduje or arrest him, asked him to do the honorable thing and publicly condemn what Ganduje did and punish him at the party level, if he’s really fighting corruption

When we ask the president or governor to make public statements condemning violence, we’re not asking them to reverse the injustice, we’re asking them to take a stance for posterity and to deter others, that’s the least they could do.

But if you still think there’s nothing a president can do about a party member who has done wrong, then I rest the argument here
