But Tottenham have been on a tear of their own, especially after handily putting away Chelsea, so the work is cut out for both sides.

The result is always bigger than just the table shows, but in terms of the table, this is Arsenal’s chance to leapfrog the Spurs into the top four, where they will control their own destiny towards getting into the Champions League.

But of course, it’s always bigger than that. It’s the North London Derby, meaning that tempers will be high, and Unai Emery better have a plan. Thankfully, he always seems to have a plan, so that’s convenient.
